I would appreciate some advice on the following.
I am due to fly out to Orlando with Virgin in just over a week.
I have purchased through Virgin 4 Seaworld attraction tickets.
I have received a confirmation invoice through the post.
My booking information online shows that the tickets will be dispatched to me.
I contacted Virgin a couple of weeks ago who confirmed that I would be issued with the actual Seaworld tickets and they would also be sent through the post.
I have contacted them again today and they have told me that I will be issued with vouchers which I take to Customer services at Seaworld and exchange for the tickets.
They told me that these vouchers should arrive in 10 working days.
I am concerned that these will not arrive in time.
I have read in this thread of someone taking the voucher to customer services in exchange for the tickets.
As I have an invioce (Paid in Full) would I be able to take this with me and receive the tickets. If these vouchers/tickets etc do not arrive in time.
thanks

Did you buy through Virgin Holidays here in the UK or from the Virgin Reps in Orlando?
When we booked ours through Virgin Holidays, our voucher arrived with all the other travel docs (tickets, hotel voucher, car hire voucher etc).
Another time, we booked tickets through the rep in Orlando and collected the voucher at the Virgin Holidays desk at Orlando airport.
(Both times we took the voucher to customer services where it was exchanged for actual tickets.)
I would say it would be up to Sea World whether they accept your 'paid in full' invoice as proof of purchase. My guess would be that they wouldn't, but you would need to check with them.
Like markelock said, I would check with Virgin. If they haven't been sent out yet, ask if you can collect them at the airport when you arrive.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

We went to Florida two years ago (Me, my Mum and my two kids aged 9 and 12) and stayed at the disney pop century.
We are going again this year and have done flights(Virgin) and accomodation seperately(Floridays). For some reason Virgin are one of the cheapest if you can fly on a Sunday. We are going in August.
From my observations/experience, the meal plan is not really worth it in disney. We paid about $14 each for mugs that allowed free drinks for our entire stay. We didnt always eat at the hotel as the food can become a bit monotonous. Also I doubt whether we every spent the amount the a meal voucher would cost.
I noticed somebody said about travel to SeaWorld, etc from Disney. When we went we hired a car and I asked several of the staff for directions to SeaWolrd and none of them knew how to get there which I find hard to believe. It was another guest who ended up directing me.
We had the 14 day park tickets last time, but only managed to benefit from the Magic hour once as it was too much of a rush to get the early one (and big queues) and by the time it was the late one we were all quite tired.
Also as for the Park Hopper, I think we only did 2 parks on the same day once (maybe twice).
I think this time we will try to avoid paying for those options.
One thing that I havent spotted being mentioned on here is the Airboat Ride at Boggy Creek. We all loved it and it was one the highlights of the holiday. Well worth doing.0 -
Hi Blink, How long is a piece of string is the answer to how good fantasmic is, for some (like my 68yr old mum) it is a quite magnificent work of art for others its ok and others the trouble starts with the queing 1 1/2 hrs before. My personal view is if you havent seen it ,try to make it 1 of your 10 things to do while in orlando and if you dont want to queue try the Fantasmic dinner (check out www.allears.com) basically you have a meal in 1 of the restaruants in HS then when youve finished you ask your server for the Fantasmic show tickets, then you will not need to queue for the show leaving more time for more shows /rides .You enter through the backway and your seat is reserved as you look at the stage it will be on the right hand side , but like most things at Disney get there a little erlier and Marvel and endulge and be entertained in the best Mexican Wave.:DBlink_Eden wrote: »Guys - how good is Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios?
I have planned out our fortnight, but the only thing I am having trouble fitting in is getting to HS to see Fantasmic on a day that isn't a Magic Hour's day? Would people recommend missing Fantasmic to avoid a MH day?
(There is supposed to be a rocket launch whilst we are out there, so we want to go to Kennedy to see this, but it is causing havoc with the rest of my schedule0 -

Hi Paul
Kinda depends really mate. Over eher you buy an all you can eat ticket so you can go as many times as you like within 7, 14 or 21 days. These cost a little over 200 quid each I think. A good place to buy these from is https://www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk as they dont have any surcharges but more importantly they offer a price match!
As for the Disney in teh USA tickets, go to https://www.touringplans.com and click on the ticket calculator. This is excellent as it will show you the best ticket to buy for your requirements and from who.
Hope this helpsSelf confessed Florida expertwith over 320 trips there!

Hi,
I have just priced up Florida for the first time, 2 adults, 2 kids (4&5)
2 weeks in the port orleans hotel (disney)
14 day ultimate pass
meal package (eveing meal, counter meal & snack)
I belive they will pick you up from the airport and all other transport is included to and from the parks
total for hotel £2361
flights, ba £1500
in all £3861 this is most of our meals so apart from the odd ice cream & drink here and there i think i should get away with £500 spends for 2 weeks
What do people think? also, is it worth getting car so you can see other sights etc..
Hi there, can I ask you who this is with please??? I am looking for first two weeks in August, and this sound like a pretty good price.
Thanks 33Missy330
