Just wondering if someone could tell me what is it like at the theme parks around Orlando at the start of june.
We are looking at going there for our honeymoon in 09. I just want to know if it is worth going at that time of year or is it really going to be mega busy?

It's likely to be pretty busy as a lot of US schools are already on their summer holidays then. As Col in LB says it will also be very hot & humid!

If I wasn't bound by school holidays I would avoid Orlando from June - mid/end of August like the plague for the reasons above. Though I appreciate you might not want to change your wedding plans just to avoid theme park queues :D

It was definitely there as I remember reading (and commenting on) it! Maybe linked to the technical issues at the moment?
  • hi,

me and my family are going to florida for xmas (dirt cheap flights on ebookers) and are looking for a villa.

found a company called floridahavens, they have website and spoke to them. they are a couple in scotland who have a few villas there they let.

they have just stopped taking payment by credit card, and want cheque or dollars wired, but nervous of doing this not knowing if the business is legit and we will have somewhere to stay when we get there!

they have offered to get past custermers to talk to me, and their management guy over there, but thought there may be someone who had used them before and could reassure me they are legit.

    cheers.

Haha think I've figured it out - think they thought I was advertising my (villa) website on my signature but I wasn't. I did have a link to it on my profile, but hey it's my website so I thought it would be alright to pop it in there, obviously not

  • My fiancee and I are staying in kissimee for our honeymoon (2 weeks) and we've already booked all the tickets, paid for the hotel and car. But the question is, what money will we need to take out with us. I kind of want to budget for food - we want to eat well (brekkie, snack for lunch and dinner) but don't want to underbudget on food. We're planning on hitting places like the Ponderosa and Sizzler to eat some of the time but I really can't work out how much to budget for food per day.

    Can someone help me please.

There are loads of places to rent villas, I'm sure your people will be fine but if you have any doubts try someone else. I used Broadway Travel HERE .

They are ABTA and ATOL protected and have availability over Christmas from £655 or £703 for 2 weeks in a 3 or 4 bedroomed villa with pool. They will allocate it on arrival so you wont know exactly where you are staying but they were very efficient and the cheapest option for us in August.

    Hi All

I want to surprise my wife and little boy and book a holiday to Disneyworld in Florida next year for the three of us.

Ideally, I'd like to go around July/August/September time and I would like to go for two weeks.

I have looked at a few websites and total package price is around £3000 for all three of us!

I'm thinking that some of you lot would have been before and would love your advice/do' and don'ts/bargain discounts etc etc

I thought I saw these kind of deals in the Sun newspaper for like £500 per person? or is that just me being naive?
