We will be in Orlando for a couple of days at the beginning of October at the end of our holiday. We are staying in the Lake Buena Vista area.

We have decided to visit MGM Studios and I was wondering what's the easiest way of getting two one day tickets in advance rather than buying them at the park gates.

I have read here that Walmart sell tickets, do they sell one day tickets?

We are planning to visit Downtown Disney, can we get tickets there?

Is it worthwhile getting FastPass ?

    Any help appreciated

    Hiya

Disney lost the right to use the phrase MGN earlier this year so its now called Hollywood Studios, its a small park but but has two great rides in Rock N Roller and Tower of Terror and also an awesome evning show, Fantasmic.

You do not need to buy a ticket specific to this park, any one Day Disney ticket will be fine.

The cost of a one day ticket is $75 for adults. Its the least cost effective way. You can see all the ticket prices at disneyworld.com. If you will be back to Orlando in some point in the future you could buy a five orseven day ticket and then add the no expiry option which will mean your ticket will not run out, but thats like spending 400 dollars! So not really MSE.

There are a number of places that will give you a free days tickets to Disney if you are able to waster half a day at some hard core sales pitch for timeshares.

I would not worry about buying tickets at the gate. there have loads of ticket machines and you can wizz through.

HTH, let me know if I can answer anything else.

    Cheers

Fast pass worth it. Its free and saves having to wait long in a queue. Sometime you can wait up to 120mins!

Im going back in October this year as well. Best time to go (for me anyway).
    July/August - too much rain!

Try and go to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween in Magic Kingdom, its good fun! :j

The Halloween party is great fun, we go every year. Remember that your ticket includes entry into the park if you arrive for the evening, so you do not need to use one of your park day tickets. However there is nothing stopping you having a great day at the MK and then taking in the party!

You will be given a couple of small bags which you will fill with candy!!!! Its everywhere and they give it out in bundles! Best place for it is toontown!

Also, if you have kids they love to dress up, Halloween is a massive holiday here in the US so there are costumes everywhere. We normally get something from Target for like 15 dollars.

Check the disneyworld.com site in September for dates.

    Cheers

fantasmic is good, but if you want to watch it, get to the place where it is been shown early, when we was there last week it was been shown at 21:00, but i would start heading for it at 20:00, as they say it has limited seating, that made me laugh as the seting area was huge, must have been the size of half a football pitch, lol, but we was still too late, and had to stand right at the back, and you struggle to see it all from there, well worth it though, also whilst you are there try out toy story mania in the disney/pixma section, you will need to get there early though and fastpass it, as i said in an earlier post by 08:15 the queue for it was 70 minutes long, and the park had only been open for 15 minutes to resort guests only, HTH Dave.
Take every day as it comes!!

Looks good but they will only send them out if you live in the USA thought you can print them out yourself but that might be a bit pricey with lots of ink!
