    Hi all,

Anyone been to Disney on new years eve? Do you have to have special tickets or can you just go in on your park tickets?

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks

Looks good but they will only send them out if you live in the USA thought you can print them out yourself but that might be a bit pricey with lots of ink!

If you know where you are staying, you could time it so that you use that address? Might have to rely on the post though....

    Hi

Nothing extra needed. Just a normal ticket. It may well get busy mind you. Pleasure Island is being closed and revamped soon so you may want to try CityWalk for some boogieing!

I got a DS lite in the US, much cheaper and the games are interchangeable between UK and US. Got mine in Walmart. Prices are similar most places, and at the time it was $5 off.

One thing I will say is this, I had to get a transformer to run off 240v and this started sparking and I thought it would catch on fire (it was the US bought transformer, not the DS that was the problem). I think with hindsight I would have got a better model transformer in the UK. In the meantime I recharge it off the shaver socket in my bathroom, but only when the bathroom is nice and dry and I know I'm in the house just in case sparks fly again.

Edit: should also mention that the cheapest place I found for the games was Costco, generally about $3-5 cheaper than in the stores.

We bought our transformer from Maplin, cost about £7.50.

The only issue to date is when i tried to exchange some of the games bought in the US, due to problems with their rating system and ours its not possible.

    Recomendations needed

Going to Florida on 15/10 and still not booked accomodation yet, although we have a good fallback hotel if needed.

We have a carribean cruise booked in the middle of our three weeks and need a 10 day stay followed by a 4 day stay afterwards.

Family of four = two kids 7 and 5.

    Any recomendations ?

walmart/target/radio shack... here's a link to a uk charger rather than using a transformer: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3650 there are also usb and car chargers available - i used this site to get accessories for the our DS bought in Boston last lear.

have taken advantage of the great virgin fares today... just 245 days to go!!!

We bought two this month, both from Target as they were 127 bucks so the cheapest I had seen and a free case too.

If you buy from Walmart you can return to ASDA if you have any probs.

Also if you know where you are staying you can use Amazon.COM

As for a UK charger, I have bought one from eBay for 3 quid. If its crap I will get another.

    Cheers
