I have been back ten pages of post to try and find who mentioned about Toy Story mania. Anyway THANK YOU.

We got to the part at 8:45 today and was waiting for it to open. I was standing in the line for a fast pass at 9:05, but the time I got out tickets which was 9:22 the standvy time was 60 mins and my fast pass time was 11:10!

Now it was a good ride but I think its only coz its new. My four year old loved TOT btw, was a real tropper. Shame they have softened it a little from years ago, but i suppose its more appealing now for more.

The day was only dampened by Fantasmc, we waiting 40 mins in the horrid rain, and I mean soaked down to boxers even with an idiot pouncho on and they kept saying it was OK and they were selling all their junk and then at 9:15 they cancelled it!

    Arrrrggghh.

Only 18 football shirts today spotted on the over 16s. thats the lowest score so far so things are looking up!

    Cheers

That would be me, i thought it was one of the best rides we did at any of the 4 parks, shame about fantasmic, as it really is a good show, but as i said b4 u need to be sat down to get a good view, hopefully you will get to seee it on another occasion, i suppose if it was raining they would have had to cancel it, as they use a lot of water that they project the picture onto, so if it was raining heavy nobody would have been able to see it, Dave

Cheers Dave. We have seen Fantasmic before we just fancied it again but what got me was the fact that the Cast members were saying it was all go and then at 9 they said it would be delayed and then then binned it. There was no def of how much rain etc would be needed. Though the seats were empty! Even at 9 am the front two rows were empty and all of the left hand side.

Also glad I never paid for the Fantasmic dinner show too!

Toy Story Mania, we thought it was good, our 4 year old liked it but said he preferred the one at MK what was funny was seeing how competitive the Yanks were on their scores. Second is nothing to them LOL.

    Cheers again Dave.

ps. i have let water of the pool FOUR days in a row, but today its not raining - so far!!

  • Hi, I'm looking at 2 hotels in Lake Buena Vista for next year. I really would welcome some comments on both of them. They are The Fairfield Inn at Marriott and The Regal Sun (formerly Grosvenor). Many thanks in advance.

Well there are a couple of differences in these.

The Regal Sun is in a primo location being on Hotel Plaza Blvd. Its also a much higher standard than the fairfield Inn which is the lowest of the Marriott brnads.

I woudl go Regal for sure. You can walk to DTD, you can walk to Crossroads and all the resturants and shops/ You are on Disney property and therefore get extra perks etc etc.

While we're talking about hotels, could any one tell me if the Best Western Lakeside in Kissimmee is well located? We're after somewhere pretty central, where we can walk to restaurants etc, stayed on I Drive last time, and while I don't mind driving, I would quite enjoy having a drink with dinner, so am looking for somewhere that's close to a fair few restaurants

    Thanks

Hi, I have a quote from Holiday Genie for £5377 for 2 weeks June/July 2009, it's for 5 adults and 3 children in a 4 bedroomed villa with pool. Has anyone used this company before and if so can you give me some feedback???

    Thanks all

Many thanks for the advice, it really was our favourite. I will book first thing tomorrow. The deal is a good one: flights Edinburgh - Gatwick - Orlando with BA, car hire and stay for 3 of us for £2200 at end June beg July.....result!
