I understand now. Sounds like a very good plan to avoid as much contact as possible with people at the moment. I hadn't realised you had CF, sorry. I echo beanielou in saying ''take care'' xxxEmzilla said:
Thank you. I'm not sure how long I've spent, but it's not as long as you might think. I work part-time in a shop and I've got lots of treatments to do because of my CF. I tend to do surveys etc when I'm just sat around doing nothing anyway, but it's definitely not constant. However, I have been staying in a bit more recently trying to minimise the chances of me getting Coronavirus.Delichon said:Very impressive. Well done!
Just wondering though how much time per day you devote to doing things involving technology. To accrue this amount it looks as if you are constantly watching screens and clicking. or doing surveys.

So I was supposed to be going into work today 12-3, but my boss contacted me last night and said that one woman at work has got a cold and has been told to self-isolate and another is getting tested for Coronavirus as her son has just come back from Japan and is showing symptoms. I haven't had any direct contact with these people, but I have stayed off work today as a precaution.
I've got the hospital on Monday morning (but will be kept in isolation there, so won't have to sit in any waiting rooms etc), so will ask the doctors what their recommendations are to stay safe. If they tell me to not go into work, then I'll have to do it. Might just have to go back to working full-time online from home for a bit to claw back some of the money that I will lose. Staying alive is far more important!!

Thanks Lou. The hospital have actually cancelled my appointment now and will be calling me on Monday to do a phone consultation. The nurse I spoke to seemed relieved that I hadn't gone into work today and I think the doctors will advise me not to go in at all. I've pre-warned my manager and she was fine with it.beanielou said:Yes, you must do what is best for you.

Definitely agree it's safer for your to isolate. Hopefully you'll still get some pay if it's due to doctors advice."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

Hope everyone is keeping well.
I'm currently waiting for my hospital phone consultation. They said to allow a couple of hours for it, so I think I'll be getting a number of phone calls from physio, dietician, nurse, doctor etc. I need to go around later and disinfect all the light switches, door handles, bannister etc - will try and get that done every day. Want to try and clean the house thoroughly too and will try and concentrate on a different room each day.
Spent most of the weekend indoors. Went to my mum's yesterday and saw my sister, but didn't go anywhere with other people there (shops, restaurants etc). Sent my OH out to get the shopping in, so we've got enough food to last us the week at least.
