Pretty much what I was going to say but said better than I would have!

OP could of course slow down - yes, the other car should maybe have seen the litter pickers but either didnt see them, or didnt care. You did see them and did care, so be the bigger person and do what is needed.

Again though. Do you really need advice not to have a 120mph crash?

By the way did a quick search. No videos were uploaded to YouTube today that responded to the searches "wrong side overtake, my side overtake, close call overtake, wrong side litter pickers or near miss litter pickers"
