It took me three hours to get going …. but then I got washed and dressed, made the beds, opened bedroom curtains & windows, emptied DS's bin, opened bathroom window, splashed bleach down the loo, put all rubbish plus some recycling in the appropriate bins, emptied WM and draped on airer and radiators, set WM twirling again, fed the birds and.... made a coffee.

Debating whether to potter about, empty the fridge or shove a rocket up Sleeping Guitartwat's 'arris.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
I have done the dailies, cleaned the fridge and kitchen, hoovered through and spent over an hour tidying the back garden of leaves. That's enough for one day - going to read the paper now.Spend less now, work less later.0

He also tears apart soft filled bedding, so has a plethora of old towels and blankets, which makes it handy for cleaning.
If he's comfy sleeping on a pile of towels and blankets, I wouldn't worry. As long as he's not sleeping in a draught, he'll be fine. Some dogs just don't take to the confining aspect of a proper dog bed.Jojo_the_Tightfisted wrote: »Debating whether to potter about, empty the fridge or shove a rocket up Sleeping Guitartwat's 'arris.
Mr Wolf has just been despatched to scrub the loo.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
My new sim came last night. I'm on a £10 a month bundle so I'm not going to put any money on until tomorrow as the 25th is payday so I will remember to top up; hopefully. I also get a free tenner if i send a text...
irritatingly I still cannot top up from my debit card for some reason, so will have to buy a voucher but hey ho.
Anyway icloud back up meant all stuff I wanted was already there when I connected. Bonus. I even have my screensaver (which is a photo of my sisters, me and Mum at Porth)
I have ironed, cleaned kitchen and cleaned bathroom. Towels in WM for next load.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

What sort of puppy is Duncan? He sounds like a character!

Which did you do in the end? I'd have gone with Option Three, in your shoes.:rotfl:

Fortunately, he must have heard my thoughts, as he got up pretty soon after posting. He didn't do a great deal, but the Idiot Cat was incredibly happy with the fusses and cuddles he got whilst a film was on.
But I did get him to do something I wanted for a change - he agreed to go to the cinema to see Bohemian Rhapsody this evening and enjoyed it; considering he doesn't go out, has always said no to seeing a film and can't cope indoors without getting up repeatedly, playing with his phone, eating, drinking, visiting the loo and generally being a right PITA, he did well (I picked the seats I wanted - at the back, no scrambling along rows (or having others scramble over us), but with a direct route out if he absolutely had to leave). More to the point, it was probably the best behaved audience I'd ever seen - everybody came in before the adverts, ate their snacks and then turned their phones off and were completely still and silent for the entire movie. The only annoyance was leaving at the end where the lift and escalators were not working, so I had to make my way down several flights of steps, as did another lady using a stick. It would be interesting to know what anybody buying a wheelchair accessible seat would have done, as there wasn't anything to say there was no access on the website when I checked whether there were seats left, and as the cinema is up four levels, they wouldn't have been able to get help or a refund.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

I have more GUAG this morningLaundry shuffle done and WM is twirling. Just towels left to do in Mount Washmore
It's my youngest godson's birthday today - he's 15!!! How did that happen? I'll drop off his card later.
Dad and I are going to scatter Mum's ashes this afternoon - after lunch and the final F1 Grand Prix of the year.
DS sent me his Amazon wish list (I did ask him to) and I've ordered his Christmas presents plus a few other gifts - so at least Christmas is underway after a fashion.
Right, better get dressed and crack on.

Morning all
Spent the last hour messaging contacts with my new number.
DW, WM and TD all run on cheap leccy. Was towels in WM/TD.
Skies look slightly less gloomy. This morning's coffee was in a Spode Christmas tree mug which my sister gave me.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
