Not the most productive of days here as by the time I had been to the horses and visited sick relative the day was gone. I did do some dusting in the master bedroom but didn't get around to doing the skirting or the windows.
Off my list from this week I still have the dogs' teeth to do and I cheated instead of sorting my clothes for the charity shop I just stashed them in a trunk so I could vacuum clean the floor.:o0 -
Evening all, not much accomplished this week, things kept relatively tidy and mainly been finding carp to throw/donate/sell & generally get out of the house.

Got over last night's grumpiness through having a good night's sleep for a change and a late start today (still woke up because of Himself's alarm for going to the Vampire session, but stayed in bed for another hour) - and Himself brought back some breakfast, so I wasn't quite as hungry as usual.
Lots of shifting and lifting in both the morning and afternoon, but had an unusual interlude - trapping a stray pigeon. Somebody decided to film me doing it (I'm really not going to look my best when performing a scaled up version of spider retrieval with a plastic tub), so I got to witter on about plastic waste as the poor thing was minus a foot, before checking each wing and doing the release into the air - which is always the Best Feeling Ever (and I suspect they now have film of me grinning like a loon as Speckled Jim pelted off at full speed).
Could feel my back start to go by the time I left, but I'm now about to eat (he only required three sets of instructions this time - !!!!!!, if something is about to pass the Use By Date, just effing cook it, don't ask and then return twice to doublecheck it needs to be cooked today - I'll only shove it in the bin tomorrow morning otherwise), I'm feeling OK.
Tomorrow - Washing, Emptying the fridge of all the OOD by a Country Mile items and cleaning the shelves, possibly vacuuming again. And obviously cleaning up the detritus from him cooking.
Sunday - Bathroom clean. Looks like he's done the floor (although it could be drying up from where the showerhead spun round and soaked me yesterday morning, making me swear Very Loudly as I was only about to wash my hair and had to change in 3 mins before leaving for the Long Day).
All in all, fairly manageable, I think.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Other than a list longer than the Great Wall of China my christmas shopping is done. (15 items) .. (including 3 provisional licences @ £34 each .. plus pics obv.)

Morning all
I seem to have got up at ten to seven by mistakeNo reason why I shouldn't I suppose, but no reason why I should either …. other than I'd been laid awake for hours and wanted a cup of tea
LW I have no experience in these matters either - I'm making it up as I go along (but, then, that's nothing new). Going to watch DS racing was the right thing for me to do; then I've had a full week at work calling to see Dad after work twice, being called on twice - which left one 'free' evening ...and, I cannot tell a lie, it didn't even cross my mind to fly that night
Oh, I do tell a lie  I did WM x 1 that evening and stuck it on the radiators to dry - and DS scooped it all up next morning as he's staying at GF's for the weekend and I'd washed exactly the right amount of underwear he wanted to take with him. :j
Last night was a chippy tea in front of the telly after visiting Dad. Today I have a full day home alone and I will fly. I will, I really will - after I've had another cup of tea
I'll sort Mount Washmore while the kettle boils and set the WM twirling.
Sounds like a plan. Please bear with me - I seem to have a really weird 'head' on today.

Morning all.
In bed with a coffee.
Yesterday I realised I had mislaid my diary and the pta banking wallet. Couldn't find at work but a second, more thorough, look at home and they're in the bag with takings in.
Lot of tearful kids (well three but that's three more than usual) yesterday I think the closure and random day off had thrown them so stickers were promised for bravery.

Morning all. Hope you're all ok. I've been lurking but not posting.
Nothing this week went to plan and flying went out of the window, so the house is a tip. However, today is mine and the dogs are away at DDs so I shall get cracking on. So far I have made more mess in the kitchen by making fudge (which I don't think is going to set).
Must eat something too.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning all,
Back after a busy couple of days, and a bit of cba. I'm on the second cuppa in the hope that it will spur me into action rather than lethargy.
A plumber friend is due in a while, so obviously DH has a) got up especially annoyingly early for the occasion and b) has been sat waiting for the hour to come. He couldn't possibly do anything in that 2 hours though... Still hopefully all in a good cause if I can hold my tongue, as it just might mean that we can start clearing one of the RoD to decorate it. I'm not holding my breath that this will be achieved any time soon though.
Apart from that, it is the usual wm, HHI and taking DD to riding.
Dinner needs to be thrown into the sc first though.
Have a lovely day, all.0
