Well it hadn't. It left its tail dangling, Poppy pulled it out, I grabbed Poppy. Mouse ran up other radiator. I grabbed tail, didn't work, so really vigorous application of radiator brush and down it dropped and this time we saw it exit through patio door.

The good news is I have a new-to-me phone.

The bad news is the sim card from my old phone won't fit; I now, apparently, need a nono SD card,

    *sigh*

  • Morning ladies.
    I'm flying today:
I've got 19 jobs on my to do list my main priorities are washing, packing and tidying the house. All needs to be done between 8:30 and 2:30 as we are heading off to my parents for the weekend.

We've got the plasterer here sorting out our bedroom, so I guess that's one less room to tidy. But, oh the disruption it's causing to my routines. I just have to keep saying to myself 'it will be worth it. It will be worth it'

Will check in with updates as I go along but currently we are on:

    0/19 jobs completed.
    Outstanding mortgage: £23,181 (December 19)

first flying job will be a cut and blow; so lots of hair to be decluttered.

    Welcome Lea30!
Thank you for the welcome back Fayolle.
In awe of your Christmas preparations being so ... done, Kazwookie!

Two more hotspots superficially sorted. They're irritating when they're building up and then stay that way. I'm not sure why I put off dealing with them for so long, months in their cases, when dealing with them just takes half an hour. Probably because it involves acknowledging that idea didn't work.
    Better is good enough.

    Yesterday's list
    [STRIKE]Clean microwave inside & out[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]change bathroom hand towels[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]clean skirting boards in bathrooms
clip children's nails (ok children are too old to need doing so I will do the dogs' instead)[/STRIKE]
dust dining /breakfast rooms (instead of dusting I will do 30 minute declutter)

    To add to my outstanding list I will;

Sort some clothes for the charity shops as I have 4 wardrobes and still a pile of clothes that won't fit in. I started this and so have clothes in a pile on the bedroom floor, I need to get these shifted.
    Brush dogs' teeth.
    [STRIKE]Sweep porch
    Clean inside of car.
Vacuum clean landing (happening now as I have a robot vacuum cleaner :rotfl:)
Vaccum DD2 bedroom (involves picking bits off the floor before I start.)
    Dust skirting on landing [/STRIKE]

I've looked into this and the consensus is it doesn't always work. I've ordered a new sim through quidco :money: but thanks for the tip!
I'm not desperate to keep my number any way. In other news SCHOOL IS CLOSED :T:eek:so I'm here for the foreseeable.

    0/19 jobs completed.

    Update:
    19/19 original jobs completed.
7/7 'extra' jobs that appeared have been completed.

    So:
All the washing (4 loads) some and hung up about the house the dry while we're away
House as tidy as it can be when the master bedroom furniture is scattered throughout due to plasterer
And car is packed ready for a weekend at my parents.

    Woo hoo.

Picking Pickle up at 3, so I've got 2 hours to myself. No idea what to do.

    Keep plodding

    Wish.

Well done you deserve a break. Have fun. I thought I'd done well today but you have really flown. Might add another job to my list. :)
