Hi Girlies
Have just seen that Charlie Boy has tested positive for corona no doubt He won't be short of a ventilator , and the best care 🤔
On the bright side, my mate has managed to get back from Goa last night, but thousands more are stuck out there under total lockdown:(

Glad you liked it.....Good morning my lovely friends. And another glorious day, albeit a little chilly at the moment but I shall be out there later, a walk to the little shop, gardening, lunch al fresco, soaking up all the lovely vitamin D.Not exactly a champagne moment - more a case of feeling relieved and yes a little smug. I have finally tamed the paperwork mountain. I decided it was time to do some "Swedish Death Cleaning" so i sorted out all my paperwork, making sure everything is in order just in case I succumb to the virus. 😂Sounds morbid maybe but it feels good to know my affairs are in order. I can forget it all now and relax.Have a great day y'all.10

My Champagne moment yesterday was finally being allowed to come home from my stay in King's College Hospital.
I have survived corona virus, It was absolutely vile and grim beyond your worst fears, now I continue my recovery at home. I have lost 1 stone 4 pounds in only 17 days !!!!

Hello everyone....
SUgarbaby so good to "see" you. I've posted a longer message on the Frump to Fab thread. Just glad to have you back.Keep watching those films (even if they are golden oldies on tv) and keep those reviews coming.I have recorded loads of films and tv programmes plus I can piggy back my eldest sons Netflix account and my youngest sons Plex account and there's my own Amazon prime so I won't be short of entertainment. Plus of course a stack of books to read.I am actually quite enjoying my isolation.....it reminds me a bit of the Retreats we had to go on when I was at school (catholic convent). I always enjoyed those, even though I was a teenager. I could quite happily live my twilight years in a convent like my grandmother did but I'm a non believer so I probably wouldn't be very welcome.....😂🤣.7 -
I already said it on the Frump to Fab thread as well but it's lovely to have you back again Sugarbaby.
My champagne moment was stepping on the scales this morning and seeing that I have lost 5 of the 7 lbs I recently gained on this medication.
The boredom and isolation has made exercising seem much more appealing to me! I am using my rebounder (mini trampoline) and the lbs are melting off.
I'm just using this time as well as I can. Reading, watching favourite TV shows and I have joined up on forums that I haven't been on in years! It is nice to feel part of online communities, as well as on here of course.6 -
I have dyed my eyebrows, and now feel as if I have a face againI have schlept the spinning bike outside to the terrace, and we take turns riding it in the sunshine. Never for very long, but every 10 minutes helps. We've just been informed that the schools will be closed until 1 May, so we'll be self-isolating for an extra month! I hope to still be working, but I will take a few days off during the Easter break. Do you think it's fine for me to put 'homeschooler' on my CV?
