Yea, there's loads of beaches, bars, shops etc nearby, but I've picked a quiet little resort to stay in, so I can relax n recuperate from the hassle back home
I love chatting to people, then going back n having my own space"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

We went to Calangute in Goa some years ago - probably the best holiday I've had, food was wonderful. That was a real champagne moment, sitting eating fresh seafood in a beach restaurant watching the sunset.2021 - mission declutter and clean - 0/20210

My Champagne moment yesterday was watching the film Beautiful Boy at my local Odeon.
It is a father's account of his son's descent into drug addiction and how the father finally realises that he cannot 'save' his son, his son has to find the courage and the strength to seek help and support and commit to saving himself. As this film is based on a true story and the father is a very experienced journalist this film is based on the book of the same name. It is quite harrowing to watch but also enlightening. His addictions really change the family dynamics and have a negative effect on his step mother and 2 younger half siblings. I would give this film 8/10
My other Champagne moment was a visit in the evening from my grandson. It was such an unexpected but welcome visit.0 -
Horrible day here. And I'm struggling a bit with a fibro flare. Think it's weather related so just going to hunker down, keep warm and cosy and ride it out. Crank up the heating, Nice eats, books, dvd, sofa throw.
Definitely a hygge day.0 -
