I'm absolutely devastated, we lost Zeus today :(
He was sofa vaulting this morning, then played out most of the day, came in ate his tea, n a while later started fitting.
The vet said She's never seen a fit last so long, in such a young dog, n that He might have been brain damaged had he lived😭
Me n Bonnie, are lost without him already😭

    :( Oh no, what a horrible loss.xxx:grouphug:

Candygirl...your lovely Zeus is NOT lost! He is romping around waiting for you by the Rainbow Bridge!....hugs to you at this time.

For myself I had a small Champagne moment...sorting out the Wardrobe...Autumn/Winter gets put away...Spring/Summer comes out...and there is little more to give a better-than-vintage-Champagne buzz than to see the pile of "too-big-to-be-kept-cos-I've-lost so-much-weight" pile grow!...A few item are earmarked for someone we know will probably appreciate them...the rest will go to the Charity Shop....and I now have a good excuse to get a new pair of pastel Jeans!

Also, stitches are out, and final dressing is removed this afternoon..and were those stitches EVER itchy!

    Good afternoon everyone..,

Well aren't we the lucky ones with this gorgeous weather. I have just had lunch al fresco......making the most of it because I think they said it would be cooler over the next few days, but summer is definitely on its way.

Prinzessiliein.....well done on the wardrobe sort out. That's on my to do list. And how fabulous that you now have a pile of "too big clothes" wahoo. :T

I am Losing steadily and already my clothes are starting to feel quite loose. I have loads of really nice clothes just waiting for me to shed a bit more. It will be like having a whole new wardrobe. I'm nearly there. Fitting into my nice things really will be a champagne moment.

I have jumped the gun a bit and have started buying smaller sized items when I see something nice in a charity shop. I've bought several summery tops.

I also managed to pick up a pair of gorgeous plum coloured heavy curtains £3. Perfect for my hall.

Hope all you mums have a lovely Mother's Day tomorrow. I hope you are spoilt rotten....

And if you aren't a mother......then "mother yourselves" and spoil yourself rotten. :D

On Friday I went to my Open Mic Poetry Evening. I had a very enjoyable evening. I performed a short story and a poem I wrote some years ago. :D

Yesterday I had a lovely meal in my local Nando's to celebrate Mother's Day with my 4 children and 2 of my granddaughter's. :j:D

Delurking having now read the whole thread.

So sorry to hear you lost Zeus Candygirl.

DD took me to the cinema last night to watch Captain Marvel. Enjoyed it very much. Then we had Chinese as it was too late to cook.

Champagne today will be croissants for breakfast as they're free.

    Lesson Learned. Lovely thread. Thanks
