I was wondering this too, got a 1000points from ACM too, so that would be 3000points - I'm sure they wouldn't take all 3 as that would be a free blanket!!!
Yet another SA dependant . Something similar with the flight socks back in the summer . I managed to get 2 coupons for 300 points each off, one from Acm and one from magazine, was happily taken along with spend points so might work. Tempting but don't need electric blanket.0 -

No refunds or returns/exchanges on cosmetics on back of till receipt. Mad even when item is sealed so no tampering possible. I've found sometimes the No7 counter staff will exchange for another No7 item .Very SA dependant this one. Good luck0 -

Orlaith I know you work for Boots so i'm not trying to make out I know more than you as I am always really greatful for your inside information.. HOWEVER:D When I called customer services they told me that as long as the item was something available instore (otherwise the tills wouldn't recognise it) then I could return it and exchange it for something else. When I got to the shop the manager was really rude to me and wouldnt take anything saying that shops did not take any thing from .com. I told her to phone boots customer service but it was a saturday and she waited for twenty minutes on the phone before saying she gave up and i'd have to come back another time. In the end I got through to someone and they was really furious that this manager had made me trek back and forth over the simple exchange of an item and called her to tell her the correct policy. I was just wondering what IS the policy? Where did you get your info from? Your manager? Is this like a grapevine thing where the rules get changed a bit more and a bit more and you're getting the blame for doing your job because customer services is advising something else?
I was just wondering if anyone knew exactly what the policy is!!
I think your grapevine analogy seems right as customer service always seem to say a different policy from what we're told instore. I've had 3 team managers tell me this is the correct policy and if I am found to have exchanged single items from 3for2 deals I will be in trouble.0 -

This very much depends. If it is still sealed and obvoiusly not been tampered with, they sometimes do take them back. Especially if it is a sealed gift set type. However, the general rule is that they don't take cosmetics back.
Good luck.0 -
I got another 1000pts voucher for Dreamland from the health club! I'm not going to use it so if any of you want it to combine with the other 2, PM me.:www: :: MFi3 ::

Boots are asking for a lot of upset customers and stressed staff if they are really going to insists everyone brings all three items back. Over the years I've had very different solutions to the problem but never been told you need to bring all the things back. Surely an exchange for another 3 for 2 item could be done without all the other stuff being dragged back in.0 -
Re: 3 for 2: What if you have already given the other two away as presents? Would they expect you to ask for the presents back in order to sort out the issue? Surely that is a bit unreasonable.0

I'm fairly new to this 'points boosting' even though I have always used my AC when in Boots. But I used to get a mailing now and again, always once at Christmas and it had a little voucher at the bottom of the covering letter for double points. I've just realised (after reading a post about using a double points voucher) that I've not had one of these magazines for at least 2 years. Are they still being sent out or have they replaced it with the collect in store mag? Will email CS if I'm missing out!!!!0
