  • I phoned up boots.com this morning and was told that I could return the item but as it was a 3for2 I could not have a refund. And as such I would be entitled to have it exchanged for anything available from boots.com only drawback being that I would have to pay the postage of the exchanged item being delivered to me. Alternatively she said, just take it to the store and do a direct exchange.

Apparently the rules concerning returns have recently changed, they will no longer issue a voucher/returns card or whatever they did before. The SA in Boots confirmed this today also. But added that as toys are all in the 3for2 offer it would have to be exchanged for something else that was in the 3for2 offer.

Sounds reasonable enough….but I’m not paying £4.95 to have my free item posted out. Nor do I want to be dragging a large box to every local boots trying to find an alternative toy to swap it with, only to find out that they don’t have any that I want! It would be much easier to get a credit voucher and carry that around until I found what I want!

Also, just thought I'd let you know that I too managed to get 2 GWP with the big bottle of P&P. SA said he didn't think it would work, so I asked him politely to try it, which he did and voila! :j

I can confirm that this did work with me too. I bought a big p+p and asked a no7 sa for 2 free gwp. She knew me as I bought lots of p+p (more 50 tubes) in the past at the no7 counter. So she let me having 2 gwp, but not let me use £5 off voucher last Saturday. So I paid full price, then called cs and complained about this (didn't tell him that I got 2 free gwp sets). He put £5 in points for me.

Has anyone figured out yet what the cheapest product is to use the £2 haircare voucher on? Apart from the glitch with the mini.

Just wonder about dreamland offer. I got 2 vouchers for 1,000 points of buying dreamland item, one from mag and another one from healthcare voucher. The cheapest one is
Dreamland Soft Fleece Heated Underblanket - Single for £29.99.

If I buy it on Christmas shopping with other £21 to make it £50, do you think I can get 3,000 points back?

Sorry if this has been asked/posted. Didn't get time to check old posting.

    Thanks

    hi all

can anyone clarify on the christmas extravaganza evenings we have our one and only one on thursday in aylesbury, do i get 2 lots of 1000 points if i spend over £100 or do i have to break it all down to 2 lots of £50? im working out the order for christmas and the birthdays up till christmas thanks.. oh and have £100 of pigsback vouchers to use up as well :j :j

If you have acm vouchers for total spending like 350 points for £30 spending, I would recommend to split the shopping. So you will get 350 points extra, but you might have to work out the items you plan to buy carefully. Depends on the items and whether you think it's worth to split your shopping for £3.50 points.

    Help please
I am going to my local boots shopping event tomorrow and was going to buy the following - could anyone confirm that this will work

    Oral B 8500 Toothbrush £ 37-39
    Disposable Camera £ 8-99
Olay total effects Hand £ 4-25

    Total Spend £ 50-63

Less Parenting Voucher £ 8-99 for free camera

    Amount Due £ 41-64

    Points earned 2000 Oral B
    500 Olay

Will I also get the 1000 xmas points as my spend is £50-63 or will it take into account the £8-99 discount for the camera hence the need to spend a further £8.99 to get the 1000 points

    Any help most appreciated

    thanks

I was wondering this too, got a 1000points from ACM too, so that would be 3000points - I'm sure they wouldn't take all 3 as that would be a free blanket!!!

The 350 for spending £30 from the Acm specifies that not available on xmas shopping events. The 1000 for £50 specifically on xmas events is 1000 for each £50 so others have said you get 2000 for £100 etc.

If you mention is was bought in 3for2 you need to bring in all three items to be refunded then sold as a new lot of 3for2s. I had about 5 customers getting very rude yesterday when I told them this as they has each only brought one item in with them.

This is a bit of nuisance. I don't like 3 for 2's (by the way I know its not the SA's fault) I prefer a third off - cos often I can't find 3 things that I want. I'd be pretty naffed off if I took one item back, for a refund (I'd only expect the cost of it back, not the 'full' price if it wasnt in the 342) and was told I had to take the other 2 back and rebuy them. Again - know its not the SAs fault and no one should be rude.
