Just got back from a trip. In my excitement i got things a bit wrong but nothing that can't be salvaged. I got a free T&G minature and a free Trevor Sorbie minature voucher from ACM but thought i had 2 vouchers the same.

I then picked up my TS minature with a full sized T&G conditioner with £2 voucher and headed for checkout but handed the SA the T&G voucher. She pointed out that it was the wrong voucher so i went and swapped for a T&G minature. I then took my new £2 voucher and got full sized T&G shampoo and picked up another T&G minature and headed to another checkout. The till bleeped and SA failed to notice i had wrong brand so returned voucher saying couldn't have freebie with £2 off. I didn't want the minature but she had already scanned it and i could her the seething behind me so have got to return it and get the correct freebie tomorrow!

I know to check the big print more carefully next time!!!

I really need a good set of make up brushes - are there any good deals to be had anywhere please ?
  • Advice needed please.... I want to return an item for £20.00 that I bought from boots.com (as the child has now requested a specific toy!). But it was a 3for2. If I return it will I get a refund back to my cc? Or would it be classed as a freebie item therfore no refund (as it was actually) :( Or am I better to take it back to the shop saying it was an unwated present????

If you mention is was bought in 3for2 you need to bring in all three items to be refunded then sold as a new lot of 3for2s. I had about 5 customers getting very rude yesterday when I told them this as they has each only brought one item in with them.
  • Thanks to those with the good advice for me over the weekend, i would quote you all but i'm not sure how:rotfl:
I went back in store on saturday and picked up my gwp without a problem. The sa showed me where they were and them just added it to my receipt. And i was feeling pleased with myself until i came back onto this thread and realised some of you have managed to get 2 gwp's with the large p&p

Oh well! I'll just chalk that one down to experience, and try better next time:D

I have £40 of Boots Vouchers to spend.
Tomorrow night, my local Boots is having an 'Xmas Shopping Evening' - where if you spend £50, you get 1000 points. I was wondering if I will still get the points if I use my vouchers to pay (and £10 cash)

I tried looking on the Boots website, but couldn't find anything......I think it did say that you don't get points when you buy Gift Vouchers - so does that mean you get the points when you spend the voucher

I don't want to make a special trip down there tomorrow and not get the extra points.

As long as you don't pay the difference with points then you'll get the extra points.
