Hi all - managed to get the last mag with the free coke voucher - just a quick question to those who have tried it - which one tastes better ?? - Does the 'coke plus vitamins' taste like oranges???
    Is the 'Antioxidant' nicer??

I really would like some opinions - just so that I can enjoy drinking my 'freebie'!!

Thanks to all you 'taste - testers'!!XX

i had the plus vitamins one and it just tasted like diet coke. i dont think they are flavoured
  • Both taste exactly like diet coke......they just have added vitamins or antioxidants!

I went in today to get the 200ml P&P for DH. Thankfully managed to get 2 of the free gift sets. I was served by the store manager who did question it. Think he tried phoning another branch or something but just came back and said he would try it anyway and see what happens.

This glitch is already mentioned in the first post. ;)

You have to be careful though as it does not work on all items. It seems to be working on Conditioner but didn't work on Boost It mousse for me yesterday.

I got the shampoo with the mini Boost it mousse yesterday and the till knocked it off twice for me. I dont really understand how the tills work, they should be the same in every store

  • 1x Full size T&G Conditioner @ £4.99.
    1x mini hairspray @£1.69.

Used ACM Voucher (minus £1.69), plus the £2 haircare voucher. Total should have been £2.99 to pay. BUT................

Total to pay - £1.30.Thanks Cupcake. This glitch does not work in all stores.

Missed the post about this earlier but just to confirm.... I bought Moisture Injection Conditioner (Full Size 250ml) and Funky Gum (Mini 25ml) and the till deducted £1.69 x2 (Plus the £2 haircare voucher - I have tons of them lol) :j Didn't work on the shampoo transaction I did.

Also the Diet Coke is on offer 2 for £1.50 at the moment (Normally 90p each) so with the voucher in the AC Mag you pay 60p (Difference) for the 2 bottles :j

Oh and a bit random but Radox bathing / shower products are on BOGOF at the moment.... I went in yesterday to treat myself to the entire bubble bath range :o only to save myself half the cost :D

Very embarassing but will share anyway.... because of all the No7 vouchers I had to use up yesterday I had to do 7 separate transactions (Poor SA!) and most of them were £5 to pay..... I went to BHS to buy my daughter some tights (Also £5) and it came up wanting authorisation which was given..... same happened in Wilkinsons so I just paid with another card to save time.... my mobile then rang with an automated call from Natwest Fraud dept. :o  I think all these £5 Boots transactions looked dodgy :o :rotfl: Anyway, all fine now but they did block it for up to 2hrs after that.... OH was pleased as we had to walk past Boots back to the car
Wins since September 2011: Wedding (Worth £3500) :j Bridesmaids Headpiece (Worth £40) National Wedding Show VIP tickets (Worth £70) £100 Shopping vouchers... :D

    I didn't word it properly.;)
  • Well after reading all your posts I thought I'd have a go at getting some stuff from Boots so I ran off vouchers from ACM and bought No.17 lipstick and lip liner and GWP which went through fine - then handed over the lip liner voucher. Also got the T&G mini and Trevor Sorbie mini and handed over the vouchers for those. Also found a travel botanics pack with body butter, body wash and shampoo for 50p in clearance. SA put everything through and I only had to pay for the botanics and the lipstick. The SA was a bit surprised as the bill had been steadily mounting and then dramatically reducing. Before she handed my card back she scrutinised the receipt - I think she thought I'd pulled a fast one somehow. I just smiled sweetly, said thanks and left. I'm sure I could have done much better with other products but I was just pleased to have got this right. Thanks to whoever suggested writing down exactly what to buy etc. in advance. It worked a treat.
