Tomorrow night, my local Boots is having an 'Xmas Shopping Evening' - where if you spend £50, you get 1000 points. I was wondering if I will still get the points if I use my vouchers to pay (and £10 cash)
I tried looking on the Boots website, but couldn't find anything......I think it did say that you don't get points when you buy Gift Vouchers - so does that mean you get the points when you spend the voucher
I don't want to make a special trip down there tomorrow and not get the extra points.

I was told you could not pay one part with points and the other with cash/vouchers. SA said you need to have the full amount in points available.0 -

It is correct that you can't part pay with points.
Orlaith I know you work for Boots so i'm not trying to make out I know more than you as I am always really greatful for your inside information.. HOWEVER:D When I called customer services they told me that as long as the item was something available instore (otherwise the tills wouldn't recognise it) then I could return it and exchange it for something else. When I got to the shop the manager was really rude to me and wouldnt take anything saying that shops did not take any thing from .com. I told her to phone boots customer service but it was a saturday and she waited for twenty minutes on the phone before saying she gave up and i'd have to come back another time. In the end I got through to someone and they was really furious that this manager had made me trek back and forth over the simple exchange of an item and called her to tell her the correct policy. I was just wondering what IS the policy? Where did you get your info from? Your manager? Is this like a grapevine thing where the rules get changed a bit more and a bit more and you're getting the blame for doing your job because customer services is advising something else?
I was just wondering if anyone knew exactly what the policy is!!:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -

I emailed Boots.com about my local store refusing a refund from Boots.com. They replied back with a letter stating that all Managers know that they SHOULD refund them if you have the delivery note, and that the store sells the item. They also wanted to know which Store it was, etc, so they could get in touch with them!!!
I have kept a copy of this letter and take it with me if ever I need to return something! Its amazing how differently you are treated when you show them the letter!!!:j0 -
Can anyone explain the lipstick/liner glitch as I am unable to find it.
Cheers.0 -
I have returned items to the store - items they don't sell in store and have had a refund. They have to phone to get a code but they should do it.0

Just copied this for you from the first page of this thread!!
GLITCHES
The 17 gwp will work on just a lipstick if you have the lip liner voucher free from the ACM. the till works out the cost of them both and allows you the GWP and then knocks off the cost of the lipliner, so lipstick, lipliner and free gift for £3.99! Thanks Mintymoneysaver0 -
Wonder how I missed that then - oops.0
