  • Morning...:hello:

    Happy Birthday Scuzz !!!
Hope you feel better soon Pam and Pipkin. x
Tired mum.... A bit early for whips isn't it? ;):p
    Nelski....Where are you? :D
Shez...Up early again?:confused:Does this always happen when the clocks go back? :p
PenPen.... Your Christmas present sounds...em....eh....[strike]strange[/strike], [strike]mad[/strike], wonderful....Who says romance is dead? I don'tthink when your OH suggested a dirty weekend, mucking out pigs was quite what he had in mind. ;):p:D
Snowy....I'm surprised you're still reading Aussie's posts. Did you know she's taken to trapping cats and cunningly disguising them as lettuce soup? ;)

Well I'm still recovering from yesterday.....Never mind bereavement, divorce or moving house.....making papier mache rudolfs with 2 six year olds is right up there as one of my most stressful experiences. :o
Need to get them dried and paint them this afternoon. They are for a competition to win a seat in Santa's sleigh on the reindeer parade through the town in a few weeks. Dtwin1 originally wrote a lovely story to enter the comp with but once I read it and explained to her about the laws of plagiarism she decided to go with the papier mache instead.

Need to do a bit more housework today and want to make a start on the lavender hearts I'm making for the girls for Christmas.....I bought my card making stuff yesterday so need to think about starting my cards soon too.
Tuna pasta bake for tea and I'm out from 6 until 9.30 at a School Council training course. I clearly remember trying to say no when I was asked but maybe they don't understand my accent or something cos they seem to think I said yes.  :o

    Enjoy your day everyone.

    Haribo x

    Hello all. Happy Birthday SCUZZ!
HARIBO - hope you recover from the stress soon! ;)

Well today I've got to nip over to a friend's and leave a cheque for a first aid course that I'm going on in December, then off to my mum's to drop my little girl off and thence to work. Oh joy.

Yesterday they decided to keep us really late - until 4:30! We're only contracted until 4:15, but usually they let us out at anywhere from 2:30 - 3:30, so it was a bit of a shock. More so because I couldn't actually do 90% of the work as I'm pregnant (10 weeks!) which precludes me from some of the ingredients used.

SC is on to make a lovely beef & bacon casserole with multi veggies, just in case they keep us late again. Need to make another loaf of bread as OH has taken the last of yesterday's in with him today.

I also need to take photocopies of my bank statements as one of my credit cards is claiming that I haven't paid them, yet it's left my bank account and the details are exactly as they have on the statements.

Also need to ring my insurance company to see if they have reached a decision on the pay out for my car which OH wrote off in July.

Also need to dig out 2 mobile phone statements to fax off for a survey.

So busy day....and what am I doing on here?? Prevaricating..... :D

    Oh well, best get on!

Haribo Funny you should mention about the cat traps. Churchmouse asked me had I caught any this morning as well. Well around tea time we heard this loud meowwww, meowwww, It went on for a while. :T :D. With a bit of luck one less cat. Saw the ducklings this arv, before there was 6, now 5. :(

Snowy won't mind. :D She hates cats.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

It was probably your neighbour trying to catch you spying on her....Or the postman trying to make good his escape. I'd go and check if I were you. ;) Humans do tend to make cat like noises when in unbearable pain. Ask Pink about the noises I used to make when she tortured me as a child which was cruel really considering how much bigger and older than me she was (is)...:p :p:p:p:p:D

    Afternoon all,

    Scuzz Happy Birthday!!!

Had another carp nights sleep. OH is very restless atm, the slightest disturbance half-wakes him, then he rolls over and [strike]squashes[/strike] hugs me. Between that and the cat doing his 'Look what I caught' meow half a dozen times, I'm quite knackered.

We got a charging station for our Wii remotes for £8 delivered last night (Ebay). Have had to hide Wii Play from OH as he wants to sell it - the game is rarer than the console atm.

    So, today....maybe.

So doing really well, plus got 3 loads of washing done and sorted the odd socks out. But my washing machine is playing up, it seems to have loads of bubbles left in when wash has finished? Have run a rinse when its empty which seems to have almost sorted it not sure what else to do i dont put loads of powder in as it is, wondering if i have some sort of blockage??

Any way off to finish the last few bits before school runs
