    Good Morning All

Feeling a bit rough today, stomach bit dodgy and headache.

Was suppose to have gone to the family group meeting last night, but with not feeling too well, we cancelled. Had a chat on the phone to the therapist who's been in touch with the school. And he's highlighted some factors about DS's behaviour. Which Im not happy about.I shall wait till 8.30 and ring the school!

Thanks Donna for the mention re the council, you know I appreciate it. Sorry you didnt qualify. You know I dont begridge anyone getting new! I was excited for you too. Anyway, still no call/visit from the inspector even though I did ring with a few odd jobs which need attention.

OH didnt get the job Christmas temp job he applied for  as to why? I told him to ring for some feedback! as of yet - he hasnt

Got our new fridge freezer last night, well 2nd hand from my boss! Its brill and cost £10.

Not sure whats for dinner later. Not even thought about it.

Twink - well done for y-days news ref your recipe!
Happy Birthday to Scuzz - enjoy your week of celebrations!
mrs-mix - hope you get to sleep better later, have you tried to write things down, that way your head might be less busier! Easier said than done I know! As you'll be thinking "have I written everything down!"
DLB - arent kids sweet! My DD used to call poppy's - puppy's. Every yr she asked for a Puppy, and of course, I said now, then I realised about 4yrs later, what she'd been asking for!

Anyway school's about to open, must dash and call em!
    Have a lovely day
    Love Emma xxx

    Morning all
I enjoyed reading the posts yesterday and had a lovely welcome, so I came back again today to see how you all were.

I have got the dreaded lurgy as, what started as a tickle in the back of my throat, has developed into barbed wire, and I can't stop coughing. Feel really _pale_ right now. DD2's asthma is also playing up and she's been really chesty all night.

Managed to get the middle floor clean but the top will probably wait until tomorrow - apart from the bathroom, which needs a good scrub.

The independent doctor is visiting today, to determine whether I will be awarded DLA, as I have a lot of problems with my back / leg. I'm waiting on some test results from the hospital to see how much damage there is with my spine / nerves.

I also have to order my shopping on line at some point as well.

    Happy birthday scuzz.

PP, hope you get news of the op before christmas.

donny-gal, good luck for your scan results tomorrow.

Your chicken sounds lovely anniebooklover, I will have a nosey at the beeb's site.

Hope you all have a great day, whatever you're doing. :grouphug: Hugs to all that need them :grouphug:

    Morning all,

Aussie, I would love to be a fly on the wall if you, Haribo and granny went shopping! The craft shop wouldn't know what hit it!:D
Twink, congratulations on getting your recipe published!
mrs mix and donnygal, Hope the aches and pains start to settle soon.
dlb, I’m sorry to hear that you aren’t getting your new kitchen.
Thriftlady, if the crumble looks and smells ok, then I'd eat it.
Crazychick and Pipkin, I hope you both feel a bit better soon.
    Happy Birthday scuzz :bdaycake:

Well, dd is home safe and sound. :j She looks well having spent a few days in the sun but I haven’t really had a chance to catch up with her properly as she didn’t get home until after 10pm last night and she’s back to school today.

Yesterday I made lots of puff pastry bits and pieces to freeze. So there are some sausage rolls, mini quiches, cheese and bacon jambons and savoury palmiers for the lunchboxes. Tea last night was a lovely chicken, bacon, garlic and tarragon cream sauce with pasta. It was the first time I’d made it and it went down well with everyone. As it was so quick and easy, I’ll definitely be doing it again.

Today I need to get stuck into some housework. I’ve already made a start on the bathroom and I’ve parked the vacuum cleaner in the hall so I’ll be forced to use it or spend the day tripping over it.

Tea tonight will be lasagne because it’s dd’s favourite.

Oh, crikey, I'm late again! Have a good day everyone.

    Morning!

happy birthday Scuzz, 24 ... oh that was a long time ago and a very good year for me, so make some memories this year!

Am bracing myself for the cupboard of doom, but feel really up for it so BRING IT ON!!!! (unless I find a spider....)

Had a late night last night doing nothing, slept really well until woken by OM having leg cramp. As he 6ft 8 there is a lot of leg to get cramp in and it felt like an earth quake.

Pen Pin hope the op is soon and effective, so that you get stronger.

Just going to tie the rope around my waist so I can crawl back out of the cupboard if I get lost, and then I can start filling the bin bags. If you don't hear from me for a while you know I am trapped in there!

    ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Well that school walk sure got rid of any cobwebs that were lurking, the wind is really picking up now but I'm sure the forecast said it was expected tomorrow:confused: theres various pots and stuff blowing around in the garden so me thinks I need to go and rescue them shortly.

Yesturday afternoon managed to put the fruit mixture to soak in brandy for the christmas cake so thats on the cards to make tomorrow or friday or maybe saturday:think:

Off shopping and lunch with my mum today, Wednesday is our retail therapy day;) nothing gets done at home, I just shut the door and leave it.....

    morning, morning, morning :D

Feeling ridiculously happy again this morning... Don't know if its all this healthy eating, and walking in the fresh air, getting loads of cleaning done, or the fact that it will soon be :xmastree:  .. so i will appologise in advance for my manic ramblings :p

Had my weetabix this morning..can only manage 1 at a time now :T .

Dinner is HM liver casserole out of the freezer with yorkies and extra veggies

Im still sticking to my meal plan and have another 4 weeks planned after this one..using up most of the stuff i have made and frozen since getting here.. by which time we will be heading back to the UK for xmas/newyear.. so i can come back and start the new year afresh :j

    Have
    • vaccuumed right through
    • tidied the living room
    • cleaned the bathroom
and now just need to mop the other floors... can't do the windows as it has decided to drizzle  ..still the moment it stops... im gonna pounce ;)

Hubby has tootled off to work with a flask of broth and some crusty HM bread.... all but 1 crust which i claimed, hubby has demolished a whole loaf... which wasn't done until just before he got in from work yesterday at 5pm  so i will be making another today... and trying to get it sliced n frozen before he gets back ;) .. still i was the BEST loaf EVER.. really well done n crusty !

Got most of my hampers sorted..although hubby reckons the car is gonna wheely all the way through Germany, france and up the UK :rotfl: still I am getting some crazy bargains...so i don't care... although it will be nice to get the stuff out of our bedroom..will move it all to the spare room later..just that our room has more floor space..... Can also report that out of all the lovely goodies i have fetched.."I have not eaten a single thing" :A

SIS starts her chemo next Thursday... so can't wait to get back and catch up with her.. and the rest of the tribe... I think she has been told that she will feel bad for about 48hrs after and then 1 week later she needs to keep away from everyone as her immune system will be weak and then she should be OK for the next week and then it starts again.. so we should get back just as she is in the "OK" faze.... :T

    Happy birthday scuzz

Sending out lots of hugs... as there seems to be a lot of bugs doing the rounds....hope you all feel better soon

sorry to not mention everyone individually but im gonna shoot off...don't know what is wrong with me..can't sit still..im trying to type whilst bouncing along to my dirty dancing CD :rotfl: If anyone walks past my window they are gonna wonder what is wrong :p ...may as well go and make use of all this extra energy... don't know what im gonna do though:confused:

Hope everyone has a great day....:D
