Problem with FLASHPARK horrible company that should be banned

Options
Hello!

I got a PCN from FLASHPARK. The photo of the back of the car is shown, but no parking warning signage is shown ON THAT PHOTO. Is there a law that says that on the photo should be shown with signage to be valid? I want to get these guys to POPLA.

They also sent me links from dailymail (!) articles to terrorise me to pay. I find this tactic disgraceful. Can I report them?

Thanks!

this is an unregulated industry at the moment, so "anything goes"

there are no "regulations" on private parking charge notices

I have no idea who you could "report" them to

Flashpark are no more than a printer that prints signs and tickets for the public to use.

In your case, the user (likely a neighbour) has failed to read the Flashpark instructions which you can see below. If you appeal to get the POPLA code then they will fold. Search the forum for Flashpark.

You could not make it up! I bet they've sent the badly-written article about the woman with 23 PCNs, that is now being defended.

Anyway FlashPark are easily beaten - search the forum for other threads about them and DO NOT say who was driving in the appeal (of course). Use the forum template appeal.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I didn't even open them, not sure what they refer to, but I suppose some 'frightening' stuff about people who ignored PCN and got into serious trouble.

What do you mean 'they will fold'? I don't understand that slang.
So, just by asking for POPLA appeal code they will erase the PCN?

Some people who tell me to search the forum, I am not lazy, but can you point me to the right thread? I get multiple results with no way for me to see what I should do.
