Some people who tell me to search the forum, I am not lazy, but can you point me to the right thread? I get multiple results with no way for me to see what I should do.

No, a link handed on a plate by us to any newbie, from nowhere, hardly helps your research & understanding of what happens & how to beat them at POPLA!

Search the forum and you will find LOTS of FlashPark threads, don't ask for a single link, do an ADVANCED search.

Put in keywords: Flashpark POPLA and change to SHOW RESULTS AS POSTS.

You will see examples of relevant POPLA appeals within 0.1 seconds - much faster than any of us can type, and MUCH more useful, as you then know how to search this forum effectively.

What do you mean 'they will fold'? I don't understand that slang.
So, just by asking for POPLA appeal code they will erase the PCN?

Have you read the NEWBIES thread yet? It can be found just underneath where you clicked on the newthread.gif button.

Have you sent the appeal template you will find there?

That's how you will get to PoPLA.

IMO, your policy is both unhelpful and counter-productive, I wish you would change it. Many people struggle with all this new-fangled IT stuff you know, I am one of them.

Is there a law that says that on the photo …

OP, there are no laws, this is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of alleged contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.

Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and others have already been named and shamed in the House of Commons as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week, hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct

The problem has become so widespread that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. It has even been suggested that some of these companies have links with organised ccrime.

Watch the video of the Second Reading and committee stage in the House of Commons recently. MPs have a very low opinion of this industry.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by early in the New Year.

I think people learning how to search this forum is vital for their case, so we will have to agree to disagree.

We cannot just churn out magic links for everyone or they will expect more, throughout, and have no clue where to look on the forum or how to win, except by asking for links.

When we are all busy over Christmas/New Year, too many people would be high & dry, if expecting to be spoon fed links and not having a clue where to look. That is not what we want, and does no newbie any favours at all.

I speak as someone who taught myself how to use a forum by trial & error, which is the best way for everyone.
