I know nothing about the area (user from London here) but would consider having a look at:
-photo 7: try and clear out the shelves/units as much as you can. It looks quite busy especially on top of the chest of drawers and middle unit where the trophies are
-photo 8: seems like there isn't a lot of natural light coming through but I am pretty sure that is an artefact. I would clear all the left corner of the picture (TV/tv unit/dog bed) and the corner on the very right side to make it look bigger
-photo 9: same as above, I would get rid of the dark wardrobe on the left/clothes hanging on the right for the picture
Hope this helps! Good luck xx0 -
As others have said, the clutter in most rooms and, specifically, all the storage at the top of the stairs, makes me think that the rooms are too small and there is no-where to put things. I suggest new photos with all the clutter removed (it can go back afterwards if you really can't live without the stuff) which would make everywhere look bigger and more airy.
Other than that, the general feeling on this board is that anywhere will sell at the right price. If it isn't selling (never mind not even getting viewings) it is priced too highly. As has been pointed out, there is a maximum price people will pay for properties in a road/location and it could simply be that yours is above this ceiling. It's not difficult!

I know my eyesight isn't what it was, but the photo of the house made me me wonder what on earth was next door until a later photo revealed it to be a garden wall. As previous posters have said, pedestrian only access will deter some prospective purchasers.
My guess is that it's priced too high.
Finally why are you using a Nantwich estate agent when you're in Crewe?
That is a very good point, when i first looked at picture 1, the side garden with wall made it look initially as if it was a car park with garages right next to your house .
I would get that picture redone so you cannot see that part (take it from lower down) maybe some have ruled you out believing a car park is right next to the side of the house.
Have a look at it and you'll see what i mean, the side "panels" on your garden wall could easily be mistaken for a garage block with doors.0 -

I was wondering what there was a side gate on to ... and even if there was front access as I couldn't see a front gate or path.
The surroundings also don't look very pleasant, with the backs of other buildings behind, and it's not clear what exactly is at the front of the house.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
My daughter viewed the 4 bed town house in Chambers Street which is the same price as yours. This house was lovely inside and decent sized rooms. However, the downsides were only one space to park the car (albeit in front of the property) and the street was mainly Victorian terraces with on-street parking. She didn't particularly like that area of Crewe and yours is in the next street. With the football ground so close by, she was concerned about match days. She eventually bought a new build at Saxon Gate and that was nearly a year ago. The Chambers Street property is still for sale.
Your house looks attractive and the two parking spaces are a plus point, but all three bedrooms are very small. For that reason my daughter wouldn't have looked at yours.0 -
OP, every house will sell … at a price,
either wait or drop the price, but it does seem overpriced with better houses in your price bracket nearby
Although it doesn`t seem like it now, it is easier and less stressful in the long run to drop the price early, rather than shuffle photos and wait for no buyers to turn up.0 -
Three bedrooms (two doubles, one single)
Bedroom One
9' 6'' x 8' 11'' = 84.71 sq ft
Bedroom Two
9' 0'' x 9' 0'' = 81 sq ft
Bedroom Three
7' 9'' x 6' 8'' = 51.67 sq ftProperty sizes are determined using the following criteria, as outlined in the Housing Act 1985 Section 326: http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1985/68/section/326
Floor area of room Number of persons
110 sq. ft. or more = 2
90 sq. ft. or more but less than 110 sq.ft. = 1½
70 sq. ft. or more but less than 90 sq. ft. = 1
50 sq. ft. or more but less than 70 sq. ft. = ½
Rooms smaller than 50ft2 are categorised as ‘uninhabitable’ as they can only be inhabited by a child under the age of 10.
Things that would put me off viewing:
1. Room sizes are very small. Even your biggest room, if any potential buyers had a king sized bed they'd struggle.
2. No driveway
3. Every room seems cluttered which gives the impression that there is no space
4. The storage on the landing especially the large chest of drawers again implies no room in the actual bedrooms for this
5. Temporary wardrobe in pic 9 is awful and just reiterates points 3 and 4. Same goes for the folded airers.
6. No pic of the third bedroom
7. Kitchen too small / not even space for the microwave
Your potential market would be a couple with no kids or a couple with 1 baby and happy to stay there for a few years before moving up.
Even if you changed nothing, I suspect your issue is price. It's overpriced for what it is.I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. I was about to say it might be because of your photos (when I was looking for somewhere to live there were some shocking bad quality pictures!) but everything looks fine! I would hold out for now, it looks like a lovely home! Close to a train station and at a decent price. People will come, I think you've just got to give it time (: the fact that there's views means that people are interested!0

Only if they turn up at your door are they really interested, and even then the wrong price will scare them away.0
