Glad I walked our dogs today as I found an errant £10 note in my jacket!

    Also, found 20p roadkill.

A nice start to the New Year!

#91 - A whole 50p potted for me today. Every little helps
My first pot of 2019 :D

  • Thank you for the warm welcome. I was able to fit a 50p through the hole so I'll cover the whole thing with tissue paper and PVA glue tomorrow and cut a coin slot in the top. Tha way I'll have to take a knife to the lid to open it. I threw a couple of £ in there today as I cleared all the detritus of Xmas out of my handbag and found a bunch of coppers (coins!) lurking under the receipts, that and a clear out of my change purse yielded nearly £3.

Happy New Year everyone. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas too.

Weekly £10 was potted last week and DH found some loose change in the car, which duly went in the pot too :)

    Happy New Year everyone

Have added £30 to my sealed pot - £20 from cash I kept for the sales (didn't see anything I needed) and £10 from my New Years Day spend.

Even managed to avoid getting chips on the way home and raided the freezer instead.

  • Turns out the air at the local garage is free (unexpected as it's a more expensive service stop) so potted the whole £1.40 I took :D

    #029 total so far £13.30

    Evening all!

I've moved my Save the Change money and paid it to my credit card, £13.20 this month, I've updated my signature to show my new total of £35.26 😊 I've had another few real coins into my jars as well.

Hope everyone is doing okay x
