Hi Sue how do I find my number for this challenge? I,ve got my pot an old coffee pot but don't understand the saving the 50ps ect where can I find all the details
thankyou0 -
I have a 3 litre empty vodka bottle which I throw all of my change in. I bag it up every now and then and hide it.
Please can I join? No target as yet but would like number 73 as that’s is my year of birth
Will update my signature once I find out how
Thanks
TracyPlease can I be added to the list, I don’t mind which number I’m given.
I’ve just added £1.71 to my empty jar and am hoping to have £200 in spare change by October 2019.
I also have an online only savings account that I’m paying into monthly and £950 credit card debt that I’m paying down so I want to set myself an achievable target for this challenge.
I’m currently only able to work part time due to health issues but I try to work overtime when I can so hopefully I’ll soon be debt free and building up my change jar DukeOfSomewhere wrote: »Hi Sue . . .
Please could you allocate me a number for the 'sealed pot challenge number 12'
Pennies make pounds . . . and pounds make me . . . very happy.
Thank you and good luck to everyone in the challenge.

taskey - I'm really sorry, but I'm unable to give you No 073, your is 040. We've had a lot of people who haven't returned over the last couple of years which is why there are so many open Nos on the list; now I need to build the members up on the list in numerical order. Very sorry but I hope you understand. Thanks so much.
Loz2018 - Good to hear you're already potting in a jar! The perfect starting point, and very well done!! All the very best on becoming debt-free as soon as is possible!
DukeOfSomewhere - Pennies make pounds indeed, so keep right on saving them - and pounds you'll have!!!!
MightyBlue - save well as it's so worth it!!
CaptainSparklez - Very well done whatever you and your DSS have saved between you. Bringing him up to save well as a marvellous way to keep him savvy with his money when he's older! :money:
lobb4 - I'm not exactly sure what you mean about the 50p coins ... unless you've read my 1st post and the part where I say about making sure that 50ps fit in? It that's what you mean then it's because 50ps are the largest coins, so if they fit in so will all other coins. Re your No, I give you that, and you'll see it's next to your name in the welcome post above. Any other questions, please just ask.
Hi there, folks!!I hope you had a good day in spite of the atrocious weather! Let's hope it didn't stop your potting!
To members who may be feeling poorly or low in spirit, I hope you get well soon. Here are best wishes and {{{hugs}}} to you. :grinheart
Another shiny gold star for you, siju, and thanks so much for helping me out and welcoming everyone aboard. :staradmin
Well done with the coins, Thrice, it's high time you now get on and pot the note too ... you know you want to! :rotfl: No doubt there's another SPC member walking in front of you and nabbing all the roadkill possible!!!! It's not me, honest, well I don't think so! :rotfl:Playing fields are often a good place to find some.
It was a good job I signed you up, datlex, when you first came on the other day because there you are squirreling money away!!! :eek:Brilliant potting!! Please pop your No on your siggy for me?! Thanks a lot.
You and me both re PA, Choccygirl, not that I was expecting too much too quick.I don't blame you for getting yours out though as at least that way it'll be saved!! "One pill and just over £15...?" What does the pill stand for as I'm blowed if I know?!!!!
Be patient re the roadkill, sadly there's not so much around these days with folk paying with plastic!! They're taking too much care of their money!!!!
Hi Dolly Rocker! Whatever you think, you're doing marvellously with your potting so far. Just think how long you've been saving for, how much you've already got and ...how long there is to go! :jBe patient Dolly and keep looking forward!!A NOTICE TO ALL OLD TIMERS:Some of you may have noticed that ALL members are now on the one Members List as soooo many have not returned. I've left a lot of the numbers open, so if any higher numbered members wish to have one (not to choose) of the open ones please say and I'll be glad to swap you.
Thanks a lot folks.I hope you're all enjoying your Wednesday SPCers, have a relaxing evening too!Sue
Opening date for SPC 12 will be 31st October 2019

Thanks dolly, I've got a lot of spare time at the minute. I've had big op in August and waiting to see if I need another soon. I'm stuck on SSP now so trying to focus my frustration of not grind able to drive or go out much into making extra cash. I want to start paying down the debt too, so this will help cover Christmas. Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230

Ooooh, lots of new[STRIKE] victims[/STRIKE] potters!
Hello to you all! :j:j
£2 potted. I was going to the coffee shop on my way to a staff meeting at another school... but no parking space prevented me from doing so! Duly potted. :money:
DH has also been careless and left 20p lying around. He's slipping again (this is a good thing... more change where THAT came from, we hope!)...Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
Hello everyone! I daresay this challenge has drawn me out of the woodwork and persuaded me to finally make an account!
Hubby and I had lots of 'fun' battling an old coffee jar lid, but we got there in the end and squirrelled away some silvers for our trouble. We've been putting coppers away in a separate jar for a while now but it's too much for us to tally up now- I reckon I'll leave them for the final total.
Look forward to chatting with you all!SPC12 #055 - £339.40 | SPC13 #055 - £0 -
