Into the 7th month of the year and I've just transferred £40.45 into my sealed pot bank account. Combined payments from Surveys, more eBay sakes and Quidco cash back.
Takes my account balance to : £752.26
(But Have spent £93.75 already on some Xmas bargains)
Coinage pot ?
I'm goi g to keep blitzing every 'extra' penny into my sealed pot until my total hits 1k. I've then decided to start sending an extra over this to my credit card to get that paid off sooner. Finally Debt Free 24/4/20230 -

Thankyou for such a lovely welcome siju☺sorry I don't know how to tag anyone☺
I've managed to put £5.00 away today into my own pot and £5.76 into my daughter's jar. She gets a bit of everything into her jar and I tend to just put £1 coins in mine. She'll probably have more than me at the end of it but who cares☺ I get paid on Friday so hopefully will be able to squirrel more away in my lovely tin:money:Sealed Pot Challenge #126 :heart2: SPC 2019 £424.00

melodyladygunslinger - Fingers crossed you can save for something memorable for your anniversary, and I sincerely hope you're able to lose weight.
DH and I are mostly having Salads and Stir Fry at present and it's really delicious. Read on first! Salad mightn't sound much but with chopped up lettuce, plum tomatoes, grated carrot, grated cheese along with 1 or 2 of sticks of celery, spring onions, sliced beetroot, sliced red/yellow pepper and Coronation Coleslaw! All the above nicely presented is so appealing, delicious too! You can do much the same with Stir Fry, add plenty of colourful veg (tomatoes, sweetcorn, peas, red onions, peppers and carrots along with broccoli, long-grained rice and virgin olive oil and it really appeals to the appetite and is so nutritious!DH had lost the stone he needed to free himself of, me too. Do your utmost to care for yourselves and keep away from fast food and you'll get there....so long as you exercise! Even brisk walking can work wonders.
So sorry to hear about your DH, Robin, I hope he's very soon better and back at more...to enable you to save!!
Hello siju! It's good to have you home. :grinheart I'm so very pleased you thoroughly enjoyed yourselves. It's easy to add a couple of pounds when you treat yourself, but I doubt it'll take you long to shift it.
Hold on to those memories, they're lovely to look back on.
That's a fantastic amount to have stored away for Christmas, Choccygirl, keep it going well!!! :j
There's no real need to tag anyone, melodyladygunslinger, just put the person's name in bold like I have. Good luck with squirreling away on pay day!!!Have a lovely Tuesday, folks, Wednesday too.
Don't forget to feed your pots!!!

Been shopping this morning and squeezed in under £20 so pleased with that. About to tackle some gardening although the sun has just gone behind a big cloud. My new free bike (donated by my best friend) is getting a service from an ex colleague this afternoon so more money to be spent there and I’m taking my boy to Carfest North at the end of this month so I’m going to have to save a substantial food budget for that as he never stops eating! I’m really looking forward to it and I’m not telling him so it will be a massive surprise and hopefully happy memory making
. I’ve managed to pot £1.10 today though :rotfl:

Potting away, the weight loss is more than I daared hope for, DD1 is coming to trms with things now and is hoping to move into a new house soon. As you know we have DGS up to 4 days a week, he's not been able to go today, he's got a tummy upset ( I'll spare you the gory details) I didn't know I could put the money I've spent because it had been in the Bank and I'd saved it thee, If I can it'll be an eye watering amount this year!!!Sealed Pot Challenge member 28

Afternoon potters! I know, I know its been yonks since I popped my head through the door but so much has been happening round here I just lost track of time!
Firstly, my eldest 'baby' yes the Jakester, moved out  he now lives across town with his girlfriend and her mum, its been strange, worst moment when DH walked downstairs one day and said 'I've put that stuff in the spare room', we don't have a SPARE ROOM! its Jakey's room! he just doesn't use it!
I have to say, it caught me a bit off guard as it was a gradual thing, first he was staying over a few nights, then clothes started to disappear, then deodorant, suddenly he has his own toothbrush at her house. I finally twigged when the TV was lugged down the stairs and into his car :rotfl: when he finally cleared out he took everything! even the pillows off the bed  (because hers are rubbish and thin it seems).
Then we went to florida for 2 weeks, me, DH, Jakey, Miss Lily and my mum is a huge villa for 2 weeks. We'd had a bit of a scare as 3 weeks before we were meant to fly the villa owner emailed me and said 'very sorry, selling the villa, please send bank details for refund' luckily my dibber friends came to my rescue and we found a replacement place to stay but that was 48 hrs I never want to repeat!
And then finally, we come home and have ourselves a new member of the jakesmum household, nope I was not pregnant :rotfl: NO! Jake is NOT a father!!! :rotfl: we got ourselves a puppy! After 16 years of shall we shall we not, changing our minds, it not being the right time, our little Labrador retriever :heart2: came home! She is 10 weeks old and named Harley and she Is just the happiest little bundle ever! You leave the room and come back and its like you've been on deployment for 6 months :rotfl: We've had no whinging at bedtime, she's happy to be crated and though we've had a few accidents, we are already mostly going outside for toiletsshe's even taken herself a few times.
So yes, very busy but very exciting times here
And to stay on track, lots of pennies have gone in the tin, no idea how much but we keep potting, we are now on tin number 2 for both silver and £2 coins :j I definitely chucked £50 in there from Jake after he paid me back some money he owed me.
Anyway, back to have more puppy cuddles, I shall try and be more regular but I can't guarantee as she's just so darn cute!SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Hi again everyone:j
Sue-UU Thankyou for the lovely reply and meal ideas. I will have to try a stir fry in the future☺ It's a bit awkward at the moment though as it's a struggle to find things I can/will eat without being sick or scared to eat:( I'm getting better though so hopefully I can try your ideas soon.
On the plus side, had a hospital appointment today and when I paid for the carpark, I had £2.30 change so £1.00 went into my tin and £1.30 into my daughter's
Had a lovely day with my daughter and husband and now relaxing☺

Hi Hettyhound and brilliant work with that £20!!!At least once you've got your bike serviced you'll have good and free travel!!
Your little lad is going to love you for what will be an amazing day for you both, what a surprise! :j He'll definitely have loads of fantastic memories to store. A really great idea!
I'm thrilled to bits you're so happy with your weight, Lucy, congratulations to you with all your hard work!! :T
I'm pleased to hear your dear lass is coming to terms with everything, it must be hard. Fingers crossed that everything works out well when she gets the house. I hope your DGS is a lot better now, friends of ours have both been rough with the same symptoms.
I see no reason not to include your other savings Lucy, after all I'm sure I'd suggested that in the first place, so look forward to an amazing declaration.
Well hello again (at last), jakes-mum !!!! :hello: I began to wonder where the devil you got to.
Sad but happy news about young Jake. Isn't it awful when the first one leaves, I was devastated when our DD got married, then three years later our DS too!!
I hope Jake and his GF are very happy and really get on well.
So, you've been on holiday too, a stroke of luck there by the sounds of things.I'm so thrilled you had such a wonderful time.
Then Harley too....? I bet she's a real bundle of joy, actually she could do your DH wonders with the release of seratonin (I think). I'm glad all's well with your household, including the potting!
Hi melodyladygunslinger. Great potting, very well done.
Is there any reason you're feeling sick or scared to eat meals?
It sounds as though you really enjoyed yesterday, great news.
A lovely £20 going in our pot now after the shopping's done!! :dance:Have a lovely Friday, folks, and smashing Weekend too. :j

Hi Sue-UU
I think its to do with being worried I'm going to gain weight if I eat anything and when I do eat, I'm so nervous I feel sick. My doctor mentioned it could be borderline bulimia so I'm trying very hard to eat at least something☺
Put away £8.00 yesterday and £10.00 today so my tin doesn't sound as empty now::TSealed Pot Challenge #126 :heart2: SPC 2019 £424.00
