So letter has arrived, unsure of what to redact in order to protect anonymity. It has been dubbed a ‘notice of intended court action’.
I’m then goes on to say that if I do not pay by a certain date that my file will be passed to the client with a recommendation of taking court action. They also refer to a letter that has been sent previously to this one, but have not had receipt of that.

    Who is the letter from?

    Those two lines are contradictory.

Either the people who sent the letter intend to take you to court, or they are passing it back to their client who may start court action.

Standard DRP template - we've seen it far too often for you to need to copy it here. Ignore it.

Just do a forum search on 'DRP notice intended court action' and read all about it.

HOW TO USE THE FORUM SEARCH FUNCTION:

Hit your 'Back' button to get back to the forum thread list. On the bar just above the threads you'll see the 'Search' function. Click on the 'Advanced Search' button and on the following page place your keyword(s) in the 'Search By Keyword(s)' and make sure the 'Show Results As' button (at the foot of the window) is changed from 'Threads' to 'Posts'.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I agree, but so many times we have made assumptions only to find out later that we have been led up the garden path.
I would like the OP to confirm that this letter is from DRP just to be sure it is what we think it is.

So the first line of the letter as a subtitle says ‘intended court action -unpaid parking charge’ and then the amount.

There is then another section called ‘what happens next’
It’s here where they say that if I do not pay by a certain date that my file will be passed back to the client who and they will recommend that court action is taken against me.

It then goes on to give blurb about the Supreme Court ruling of 2015 ruling parking charge was lawful. They say that this was referred to in a letter sent prior to this one. However I haven’t received said letter.

    The letter is from DRP.

Post #105 applies. There were too many same-old phrases in your description of the letter that made me absolutely confident it was from no one else other than DRP.

Jay as expected. Just scan the letter removing your personal info and upload to a free hosting site and post the link here

It does sound like the junk DRP send out. Seriously, we must see that letter
