Excuse the tittering at the back!

The EASIEST FIRM TO SEE OFF AND IGNORE! THE VERY EASIEST ONE, OMG...

    :rotfl:

So, stop that damn payment plan this MINUTE!

Reclaim the money from your debit card, rehearse what to say first, that you did not agree for DRP to take multiple payments (it's for DRP to prove that!) never signed anything, and realise now that a registered keeper cannot be held liable and they lied to you about liability.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Great lol! I feel great Umkomaas

The problem is that too many get hot under the collar, take this off on a wild goose chase, without first seeking out the basic facts.

Now we've got those basic facts out in the open, we can advise you much more pointedly.

    Follow what Coupon-mad advises.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

    There you go Jay8705 .... it's unanimous

Stop ALL payments to DRP and claim back all payments thus far
    from your bank

Expect DRP to throw their toys out of their pram with more junk letters which we would ask you to show here

Ensure your bank rejects all future payments. Some banks say they cannot stop a direct debit on a debit card. They lie, they must follow your instructions

Update on current situation. Bank have reimbursed payments into account (although sitting with fraud team to investigate). DRP have begun making calls, leaving voicemails etc. No written correspondence as of yet.

Well done for seeing this through, you might make history.

Whatever you do, don't you go talking to these bad boys

We are all behind you, especially me as I was one of those who told you to do this.

DRP have only two choices, shut up or expose themselves and those who instigate such intimidation, that's their parking mates and the dodgy legals

    Remember this ......
    Consumer payments and “civil recovery”
The Regulations amend the definition of a “transactional decision”
to expressly cover demands for payment from a consumer in full
or partial settlement of the consumer’s liabilities or purported
liabilities to the trader (see reg 2(1A) of the 2008 Regulations).
This means that misleading and aggressive practices in respect of
such demands would now clearly lead to both criminal sanctions
    (under the 2008 Regulations)

If DRP want, we can take it all the way

Nice one I like it, now sit tight and keep your nerve, you've already fallen for the scare tactics from the very scary DRP (laughs whilst typing), don't do it again!!

I too am right behind you and you must let us know the details of what scummy DRP try now you've sussed them out, it will be most helpful to others in the future.

So at the moment lots of attempts to call which have been ignored. Lots of text messages asking To get in touch, I will of course keep everyone updated as this progresses. Unsure on whether to get in touch with the bank or to wait for them the bank to update?

Of course. In due course they will write to you and that's the letter we want to see.

Wait to hear from the bank and let us know what they say
