I've never seen a Notice of Acting so can't comment on it sadly.

Get an HCEO in quickly! The lawyers have acknowledged the existence of the CCJ. It is still valid.

I see nothing in that email that would make me want to respond to them. I don't see what purpose contacting them would serve other than to allow them to buy enough time to get a set aside.

I fear that's what will happen due to your failure to act promptly.
  • you are not dealing with children here , thi9s lot could snap you in half with one TXT

do as suggested , act fast

PS , If you knew who T whitehouse was , you would not be questioning the text , below the message

I will enforce the CCJ tomorrow. Thanks for all your support.

There is One last concern I have though. What if I enforce the judgment and HCEO successfully seize the goods and get the money and then Paypal's solicitor is successful at setting aside of the CCJ. I think I have to return the money to them?

AIUI they hold onto the goods or money for a couple of weeks in case a set aside goes through.

After that it's game over. They run out of time.

Hi, did you manage to enforce your CCJ against paypal, or did you get stumped by their musical chairs game of UK/Luxembourg shell companies?

A frustratingly typical thread that hasn't been updated with the conclusion.
So Koray - was it a happy paypal Christmas?
