Oh my, Kathryn, your family is showing amazing strength.

Well done, getting back into target range, maman. You could add chilli & ginger to your carrot soup. And thanks for noticing our score today. I’m grabbing (gently & politely) the bragging rights back from beanie. Of course, I didn’t go today!

    Good work Vixstar.

I think cauli rice is a waste of a good cauli!

    Morning everyone :)

When I joined SW I set a target that I though was maybe a bit optimistic but hopefully achievable. I had no idea how well I would have got on as I pretty much failed at every other "diet", but I'm delighted to say that I made that target this week!! I have lost 2st 6lbs in just 10 weeks.

I am actually 2lbs under the target that I had initially set with a whopping 7lbs off this week! I'm very happy to have reached this stage but I'm still not at the weight I really want be, so I've spoken to my consultant and agreed a new target.

It feels great to have hit this target though :D

Absolutely cream crackers! Just back from a fairly brisk walk along the beach to the next town and back again! About 2.5 miles. Didn't manage as much yesterday so pleased with the improvement. DH has been going out walking & running every day and aiming to do at least 45 minutes of brisk walking in addition to the more leisurely walking! I can't keep up with him as my COPD is worse in winter than it is is summer.

    Today's plan:

B - Fry up - cooked by DH
L - HM mixed root veg soup; 1 slice of bread (0.5 HEB)
D - A family named dish of rounders - layers of savoury mince, aubergine, tomatoes and finished with a good layer of sliced potatoes and baked in the oven until the potatoes are crispy and golden. Will serve with broccoli & peas probably. Might also do some mash depending on how hungry we feel!

HEA - will be skimmed milk as usual
    HEA - 1 slice bread (0.5); 1 Hifi bar (0.5)
Syns - couple of glasses of wine (DH and I will finish the bottle he had a couple of glasses from last night)

  • Well done fatrab on reaching your target & all those that have lost.

WI yesterday saw [+ 1/2 which I'm ok with especially given last week.

Went out again on another date night with hubby (at this rate anyone will think I like him) so had more alcohol than I would normal have so will have to be good now for the rest of the week.

I did make a cottage pie for tea tonight & will cook a chilli to freeze later on.

I've also spoken to my consultant about changing my target....she suggested I have a think about it....part of me thinks why not but there's another part that says you've already mentally changed it once don't do it again. Will have a think this week

:T and so say all of us. Brilliant fatrab!!

The water melon one isn't online tweets but the other two are free. I think they probably all are as they are NAS.:) Super photo of Poppy.:)

Strange you not liking champagne denise! I've always enjoyed it.:D I used to drink red all the year round then I got onto chilled white in the summer months. So now I'll drink either. ;)

We got out early this morning as we had an hour to travel for the Remembrance ceremony. Fortunately we were back home by lunchtime so no need for eating out. This week I plan to go to WI on Thursday morning before eating out for lunch. Hoping for a decent loss but if it's just another half pound I'll take it. :)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, 2 boiled eggs, half HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: ham, fried potatoes and veg, pickles
D: roast chicken, SW roast potatoes, carrots and BNS, kale, cabbage, cauli, broccoli
Syns: HM gravy 4? weekend wine:)
