Maman - if the carrot & lentil soup is "only OK", I'd suggest spicing it up a bit when you reheat it with some cumin and coriander, and garnish with some fresh coriander if you have any. Although it might just need some extra black pepper! I always add black pepper when I sit down to eat it to give it a bit more flavour!

Thanks Denise . I'll try the black pepper. I did put in a little bit of cumin, coriander and chilli flakes but only a little. I think I'm probably comparing with my favourite ham and lentil.

I'm enjoying my weekend wine beanie . I've accidentally had real champagne when I normally have Cremant or Presecco on a Saturday. Nothing much to celebrate (unlike greentiger) but I'm enjoying it.:D

Only problem is that DH wants some!

Off to watch the Remembrance now. We'll be going to DH's home village tomorrow and {don't mean to be disrespectful} but hope it doesn't mean eating out.

Think I must be weird - I don't like champagne! Not that keen on any of the fizzy wines, LOL! Give me a glass or 3 of most red wines and I'll be happy!

Was good today and stuck to just 2 G&Ts! but still had almost all today's syns as I ate some of fat on the duck breast.
