Hi esmy.....I didn't buy much treats.....Some nuts, box of chocolate biscuits, crisps cheese and crackers...I love Stilton and Cheddar....Apart from the Cheddar...I have not opened anything yet...I have had a small bar of chocolate and about an ounce of cheese....I had Xmas dinner out at some friends, Turkey and all the trimmings followed by Xmas pud.....Boxing day was snack day and I had some trifle....I have now put everything in a box out of the way.....:rotfl::rotfl:

I forgot that I also made a Xmas Cake...Still not cut it....

Plenty round here beanie : 3 flavours of Pringles. You'd be very welcome. My DH is being very noble, doing his best to polish them off. He could do with some help . :D

DH fancied pizza this week so bought one from Mr Ts and will add extra toppings like mushrooms & roasted peppers. Means using most of my Syns for today. Not sure if I'll have any others. Will also be using both HEAs:D.

    Today's plan:

B - baked oats; fruit, skinny syrup
L - meat feast pizza (I'll have 1/4 DH can have the rest!)
D - La potee from freezer

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - oats
    Syns - pizza 13

    Merry Christmas to all!

Have had many family members staying since Sunday so haven't been on plan as such. Definitely been enjoying the cheese and Xmas cake but we did try and avoid buying too many sweets. Didn't weigh in this week as was in the pub during my normal weigh in :o and haven't had free time to attend another group so won't be facing the music until after New Year (and a few days with my other half's parents who are good cooks!).
Am at work today for a 24hr shift and am looking forward to being separated from the cheese and mince pies. Still not totally on plan and won't be figuring out the syns but yoghurt and muesli(HEB) for breakfast. Leftover lentil lasagna for lunch (HEA - cheese and oat milk I guess) and a veggie risotto ready meal for dinner. Just a shame I can't get out for a run as I'm really enjoying that at the minute.

If I don't get back online beforehand Happy New Year to all.

Advance warning of the new challenge

This challenge finishes Sunday night, so it's time to start thinking about the next challenge
    Slimming through the Winter

I will be starting the new thread at the weekend, but the new challenge will run from Monday 31st December to Sunday 3rd March which is 9 weeks.

If you would like to be part of the next challenge please post clearly what you would like to lose during the challenge and I will add you to the spreadsheet.
  • Hi Chris (and everyone else.)
After a delicious but synful Christmas, I would like to join in on the new challenge. I weigh on a Friday and I know that I will be out of target!
We are going to Tenerife in February and I would like to lose 10Lbs
That will have me back in range and down at the bottom end. I won't know the full extent of the damage untill the 4/1/19
I love the extra He A as I drink lots of tea and coffee and always struggled if I needed to use syns on cheese.
I also saw that Heinz cream of tomato soup has dropped massively from 10 syns a can to 4 - that will definitely be on my lunchtime menu once I go shopping again. It is a favourite of mine that I usually avoid.
I shall see you all on the new thread xx

Hi All, hope you all had a lovely Christmas.

I have been completely off plan, dread to think what next weigh in will show, however I have had a lovely time with my family, as for once dh and I have both been off work together with the kids. I am not back to work until the 7th so will weigh in then if that's okay and take that as my starting point?

Chrisv I would like to aim for 14lbs please.

If I'm not back on before, hope everyone has a Brilliant New Year xx

Change of plan for lunch - we'll have the pizza tomorrow now! Having chicken goujons & prawns with coleslaw for lunch which will be 11.5 syns! As bad as the pizza which surprised me!
