No, still at it here bubbs.:D I have to admit that I'm really enjoying my extra syns.

Visitors went last night but have DD2 coming later although she's not here for a meal, just a couple of hours and a drink. If she wants to eat anything with it there's plenty of fancy biscuits.:D

I'm planning to finish the rest of the LO veg in the fridge for lunch and make something with SW chips for dinner. Still got a bit of turkey and ham left so needs eating up. I could freeze the ham if needed but I never fancy turkey at any time other than Christmas.:)

So meals will be quite SW friendly today. Then we're off to football (lucky us got chosen not to play on Boxing Day:() so less time this evening for drinking and eating chocolates and cheese.;)

So meals are slowly returning to SW friendly (ate too many sandwiches yesterday:() but treats still in abundance.

Have been pretty good since Christmas Day! Definitely well over Syns in the run up to and on Christmas Day.

Went to WI this morning and was really shocked to find I'd actually got away with just 0.5lb gain! No idea how that happened. Needed to go today to get the new books as will be on holiday from next week for 3 weeks so won't be back at group until 31 January or the week after (depending on how much weight I gain on holiday, might need to give myself the extra week to do a bit of limitation!)

    Today's plan:

    B - strawberries, blueberries & blackberries - after WI
    L - cheese & onion omelette; satsuma
D - hake (cooked in foil in the over with lemon slices); SW chips & petit pots; more fruit probably

HEA1 - milk in teas as usual
    HEA2 - 30g cheddar
HEB - not sure but may have a couple of Hifi bars later
Syns - probably have some of the chocolates I got the Christmas - have been very good and not opened them yet!

Bubbs thank you - I was really surprised and shocked. Was expecting more like 2lb!

Another website for SW friendly instant pot recipes is https://www.slimmingeats.co.uk. It's a British woman who now lives in Canada. I use quite a few of her recipes - but not in an instant pot 'cos I haven't got one but work in a normal pressure cooker. She's also got quite a few slow cooker recipes.

How did your boiled eggs turn out? Seems a bit pointless to me using a pressure cooker for boiled eggs they only take a few minutes in a normal saucepan, LOL!

You did really well to just have that tiny gain denise. Well done you!:T

I have to admit that I'm scared of using a pressure cooker so I don't think your new gadget would suit me at all bubbs.:o

It's a week since I did my big shop for Christmas so although I could manage for a couple more days I really should do my week's meal plan and shop today or tomorrow. Change of plan yesterday as we had visitors that stayed longer than expected so I had to make a quick meal before we went to the match. Bolognese from freezer came to the rescue. :D So today, I still have the last of the turkey and gammon to finish off.

From tomorrow we'll be back to fairly normal on meals (except for NYE when we always have duck and dauphinoise potatoes) but I'm still going to have treats until next Tuesday. I'll probably face the music at WI next Thursday and take it from there.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk, banana
    L: lentil and veg soup
D: gammon, turkey, SW chips and pickles
    Syns: lots!
