Hi, all, I can’t believe I’ve been away for so long! I don't have any excuse!
Hello, Gerona, I’m glad you found the thread useful. Hi, Sleazy and Pennylane.
Well done, Gtq (I like your thinking, btw), g2dtn and TIE.
Congrats, SOTW Bozwood. Thanksfor the chart, Chris.
Yes, Denise, the big white roll is  but I would not have survived on scrambled eggs alone ☹ maman, I usually have wholemeal bread and rolls in the freezer but I’ve been trying to empty it to make room for Christmas stuff/leftovers. I don’t know anything about haggis syns as I don’t like it at all – ever!
Oh, bubbs, I am so sorry you’re not well; I hope you recover soon. You are a veritable cooking beaver! Please move into my house! Hope you’re on the mend too, gts (lovely dress).
I love mixed pickles, and, like you, especially the cauli. I can’t remember where I got my last jar – Co-op or Sainsbury’s maybe? Thanks for the recipe, Denise.
Glad you enjoyed your night, beanie.
Much to my surprise I managed to lose 0.6lbs this week. It’s not a lot, but it’s the right direction.

[FONT="]Reporting my first gain since starting SW in July +3.5lb, which I'm completely fine with (fully deserved). It's Christmas after all, it's all about trying to limit the damage

Nice to see you posting again SSM and Greentiger.
Had to do a fasting blood test this morning so only finished breakfast about half hour ago! I was starving but DH decided we ought to do our walk while we were out rather than having to go out again later - which of course made breakfast later than it would otherwise have been. Still at least I don't have to go out again later now!
Last day of damage limitation before the final WI before Christmas! Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs on toast
L - carrot & lentil soup
D - lamb loin chop, mash, green beans & peas
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - none planned!
Popped into Mr Ts while we were out to get some more fruit and veg. Picked up a really nice cauliflower for 29p! Maman if you're near a Mr Ts might be worth a visit to get some to make that cauliflower pickle!!! (probably not the best time of year to find the time really!).

:T It's a loss greentiger. Amazing for the time of year.:T
I think most of us are into damage limitation at this time of the year oxfordgirl but it's worth being good when we can.:)Popped into Mr Ts while we were out to get some more fruit and veg. Funnily enough I was in there yesterday and thought exactly that.:D The Christmas veg is brilliant value including the cauliflowers but I really don't have time.
I'm out all day tomorrow with DD1 so intend to do my Christmas meal plan today (Friday to Friday). We're out a couple of times in that week but I'm going to try not to go too mad. But I do plan some treats (crisps, cherry liqueurs and chocolate marzipan with my name on:D).
Probably a bit light on Speed today but will add as much to the sausage casserole as I can. It's an old recipe the children loved so it's a beans, bacon & sausage feast although I'll add onions, mushrooms and courgettes to try to help. And snack on some horseradish beetroot that I bought YS yesterday.:D
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk, banana
L: ham, fried veg, beetrootsausage casserole with tagliatelle
Syns: syrup 2.5, cornflour 1 (I think although I've not made it for ages)0
