Looks (sort of) nice, but too much veg for my taste ... :(

My NHS Lifestyle Counsellor does tell me to eat more fruit & veg (especially veg) though.

I'm a veggie though ... eat eggs (lots) and quorn products plus dairy ....

  • Well I sacrificed my scrambled egg on toast / mushrooms / veggie sausage for a paleo bar in Wetherspoons this morning. That and 3 coffees (black with a splash or three of semi skimmed).
  • Think I am on damage limitation from here to end of week. Lunch out on Sat, got soaked to the skin, Toby carvery yesterday and I had a dessert, only have one once in the blue moon

Tonight I am cooking my annual Christmas dinner for my brother, mozzerella, tomatoes & cucumber starter, not sure what to drizzle on them yet, followed by lamb shanks, roast potatoes, mashed, carrotts, broccoli, cauliflower. Little mini Christmas puddings if required.

Glad to be at work today, eating returning to "norm"!

    Have a good week everyone.

Absolutely right! My Sunday dinners are like that plus roast potatoes as well which Bubbs doesn't eat.

    Today's plan:

B - Toasted bacon & mushroom sandwich spread with Philli Lightest (0.5)
L - Jacket potato, beans, HM coleslaw (0.5)
D - Sweet & sour pork & rice - using LO roast pork

    HEA - milk in teas
    HEB - bread
Syns - philli lightest 0.5; LTL mayo 0.5

Just enjoying looking at some of the photos on here!

I will be joining you all after Xmas. I have registered to do a 12 week course and will probably start on 29 December.

    Happy Christmas everyone.

    Morning!

+1.5lbs for me this week. That's 2 weeks in a row I've put weight on but I'm not surprised. I just keep telling myself how much worse it would be if I wasn't on plan some of the time. I feel like damage limitation is the best I can hope for over the next 2 weeks now and I've blown the chance to reach my target by Xmas, but I'm not giving up. If I can get there by the end of January I'll be delighted so just need to keep at it.

    Today:
No breakfast as had to drive 3.5hrs to work
Lunch - SW Lasagne and salad (HEA - cheese)
Dinner - Whatever the meat and veg option is at the hotel!
    No snacks today
You can have results or excuses, but not both.
Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!
