Thanks for all your kind thoughts yesterday. A very sad day, of course, but everything went well. Feel absolutely exhausted today, so intend to do very little. I have a bit of unpacking & sorting out to do, & to put dinner in the slow cooker. Apart from that, I intend to do very little, so there'll be no spending either.

Morning purps - you're always up before me these days! I was just thinking when I got up this morning that tonight I'm going to bed early as am so tired when I get up in the mornings!

The tea party went well, madam enjoyed herself. I on the other hand find hosting gatherings difficult so it felt stressful! After devoting myself to madam yesterday today I intend to spend the a big chunk of the day catering to my own needs!

    Small things today:

    [STRIKE]* check banks[/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]make bean cassoulet [/STRIKE]
    * [STRIKE]load of washing and hang out[/STRIKE] - better put that on in a minute
[STRIKE]* walking to the allotment with friend and pup to do some clearing & digging[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]* definitely doing some sewing today! Going to finish off my trouser to skirt refashion :D[/STRIKE] just have to hem it. Think It'll be good to go for work tomorrow :j
[STRIKE]* all meals from stores [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]* NSD[/STRIKE] :j
[STRIKE]* feed all house plants with some tea[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]* get bag/clothes/food ready for work tomorrow[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]* make some overnight oats for work Thurs [/STRIKE]& Fri
[STRIKE]* reading with madam after school to free up time for trick and treating when it gets dark[/STRIKE]
    * bath, read book & early night
[STRIKE]* onepoll if I can be bothered[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]* read newsletter[/STRIKE]

    Ok that's all!

    Morning folks!

A quick round up of yesterday
    • B/L/D from stores - oops
    • OH to do housework hopefully - done
    • Remind OH to drop bag of yarn off to friend - reminded but not done
    • No alcohol - oops
    • Gym at lunchtime - hmmm feeling a bit blegh tbh
    • Charge phone in work - done
    • Heating on timer. One hour in the morning and one in the evening - done
    • Winter duvet out to go onto the bed later - done
    • Emptied dehumidifier water into "free flush" bucket - done
    • Knit sock - done
    • Do end of month budget sheet before payday tomorrow
    • Check payslip - done
    • Update student loans account (am nearing the end) - done
    • Check ebay item. Am gutted as someone offered me a good price but I left my phone at home and missed the acceptance time :( - done. 3 watchers. Have revised the description to say "offers welcome" and have apologised for the ones missed. I have a bid! Hopefully the first of many!

    And today's mission:
    • B/L/D from stores
    • Heating on timer - done
    • Bake OH a birthday cake for tomorrow - no - stuck in work
    • Gym at lunchtime - I will go today. Am feeling a bit better - done. Yay am back!
    • Charge phone in work - done
    • Take meter readings and add to app - done
    • See HR about my amazing 10 years at the company gift (£100 voucher. Nice... but not particularly generous as the employee of the quarter gets £100 and dinner for 2 ) - done
    • Start of month budget sheet. We did brilliantly last month and we have managed to put £390 aside towards Jan/Feb (no gigs for OH)
    • Knit sock
    • Investigate thermal curtain lining fabric
    Have a good one all!

    Hi October Overthrowers,

    Foxgloves, glad it went well.

Morning!:coffee: It's still my w.e.e.k.e.n.d. until I revert to nightshift at work tonight. My mind is a mess and there's a man with a road-drill in our street. :(

    Debt-Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Four:

    * Check online banking. Done.

    * Get some exercise. Done.

    * Go to Morrison's with DW. Done.

    * Work out how my work schedule is going to work...What I need for packed lunches. When I'm going to sleep....when I'm going to have my main meal...haven't done this for months. Done.

    To be continued....

Things don't have to be perfect to be wonderful.

Hugs foxgloves, hope you have had a relaxing day. Glad to hear that yesterday went as well as these things can :(
Busy and spendy couple of days here, as we went out with family last night to celebrate a family birthday and out again today for lunch with a friend
    A few small things though:
    Brown banana for breakfast fruit
    Postal survey stuff done
    Posted 3 ebay items
Walked dog for free exercise - and much needed after 2 meals out in 2 days. Portion sizes are much larger than we have at home. I would be the size of a house if we did that often
Checked banks and updated spending diary and spreadsheet.

    Back on it tomorrow!

  • CLF boo to working late but :j to oh for bringing you tea :D
Foxgloves hope you are to able to continue to take or easy
Determined hope the day doesn't feel too long with your early start

    My list for today:
    Check banking, update sheet
All meals from stores, triage fridge a couple of things will need using/ freezing
E mail utility provider (again) about their lack of bill and how they've hiked my prices as I've cancelled the direct debit. The standing charge has gone up 10p a day alone  in reality it doesn't mater as I've switched and will be gone in a week hopefully. But it's a matter of principle :rotfl:
See if I can order something online that may take a while to arrive, money from relative pot
    Unsubscribe from some e mails
    Continue to do washing shuffle
Continue to drink OOD early grey tea
Talk to small about birthday party for her. Have a plan :)
Try to get to gym later if DH is not back too late

Have a great day everyone. Purps.
