Ditto Iona's last thoughts. Life is fragile.
The washing is on a second spin, as it is drizzle and murkiness outside. That has also put paid to thoughts of going to the allotment, which I'm not particularly upset about, as I need some guag from somewhere. Ironing done, and a couple of cupboards sorted so that the utility room doesn't become more of a hot spot than it already is.
I have a couple of jobs to do on the pc which will tick annoying things off my list before they become croaking frogs. I just need to get on with it. The kettle has boiled, and I have put some biscuits in the jar (courtesy of the above cupboard clear out), so please help yourselves. X

I'm so sorry, I haven't had chance to read the Flylady thread since I posted at the start of the week.

Roundtuit I am so very sorry for your loss..

Narc0 I hope your car wasn't too badly damaged. Gosh, what a shock!

Ionafan sorry to hear that Mr I has been so poorly again.

Jojo I hope Himself enjoyed his birthday; sounds to me that his idea of “celebrating” it is much the same as mine (I kick it under the carpet and pretend it's not there).

Bungalow is something of a midden, I fear. I am trying hard to keep on top of it.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

OH is about to list things on ebay, I was going to clean the oven go into the kitchen to find he has turned it in to a film studio to take his photos, every thing has moved, white sheets everywhere as back ground, he is now 'playing' with the items he is planning on listing

So I got something to eat and have left him to it!

  • Hiya all x

Been on the go since I woke this morning. Scullery totally decluttered, windows washed, umpteen washings done, floor swept and the sink is full of bleach to get rid of marks? Bathroom and DDs windows cleaned. Beds stripped and washed they are now in the dryer. DD decluttered to ballet, ex has been with a form that he needed filled out, done that and got him to nip to the shop for me.
LR tidied up and throws washed.
Just having a caffeine and nicotine break then I'll get the laundry folded, ironed, put past as necessary. Might even bring the hoover out!

  • Afternoon all :)

Washing on the line, DW going, meals prepped for the week, school bags etc ready, it's back to work for me as well but only three days this week.

DH VAT done, bank accounts checked, £10 paid off mortgage :p. My friend is taking the kids out for an hour shortly, I plan to inspect the back of my eyelids whilst lounging on the sofa, my cold is still hanging around and feel worn out.

    Have lovely evenings all x

And remember Don't put it down, put it away

Also wiped down all the doors upstairs. I don't know what the previous owners did, but they must have varnished the doors and trapped some mold underneath, cos as soon as the temperature drops the doors get moldy. I have de-molded and sprayed a mold sealer on top.
Upstairs and the stairs have been vacuumed. Tortoise has been bathed and fed. Paperwork has been filed away. Kitchen floor swept.

I have tea to cook later (hm burgers) and lunch to ready for tomorrow.

  • Hi all

DS is on a 6 week wait to have a tooth out and woke in agony last night so I was out of bed at 4am finding stronger painkillers, think a call to the dentist might be in order tomorrow.

Have been gently pottering, made soup and bread, cleaned some windows, sorted some laundry. DH has taken himself off to bed feeling ill and DS is shut away in his room so its just me and the dog. Sure I can amuse myself - book or telly?

Going to do a mealplan for the week and plan my diary - must get to the gym. Dad to take to hospital for a check up tomorrow.
  • Himself has tidied the floordrobe, put a washload on and removed Halloween bits from the living room.

I have cleared most of the muck off the countertops, removed vast quantities of vile gloop from the sink (is it really impossible to scrape the plates off?), cleaned said sink and pretty much gone on strike.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
