Eversmart saying my deal isn't fixed.

You would only have to initiate a complaint if they tried to increase your tariff before the end of the price guarantee period, which in my case is 20th August 2019.
Why would I bother with a complaint when I've not got anything to complain about. I will if it happens but I'm not going to get stirred up about some that may not happen.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
Oh dear. Out of the Iresa frying pan and into the Eversmart fire...can we expect Eversmart to contact all customers on 'Welcome Home' to clarify their position, and to try and buy them off with a tenner? Or do we all have to initiate a complaint?
Love and Power!
I'm going down the 'complain now' route. Eversmart have told me, in an email, that they are not prepared to honour the 'Price Guaranteed' tariff. To me, that is a problem, right there, right in front of me and it needs to be dealt with.
I can't believe that Eversmart will not increase its variable tariff between now and next August, so better to sort it now, rather than later.0 -

Neville Chamberlain said something similar in 1938,.... and look how that turned out. :eek:0 -
The farce continues.
I had raised a complaint on 28th October and had been given a Case Number.
Today I received an email saying exactly this:
"Case Closed
Dear (my first name)
Case Number (my case number)
We are just confirming your case is now closed, if for any reason you need to re-open this case please click here."
No other information, just that the case is closed.
When I click 'here' my Outlook email opens with a blank email with eversmarts email address pre selected. (hello@eversmartenergy.co.uk)
I immediately responded that they can't close the case without giving me an explanation. I received an immediate response saying that they've opened another case- giving me a different case number!
What a shower this company is.0 -
The advantage of a complaint now is that you will then receive a deadlock letter (or equivalent communication) within a few weeks: that enables you to proceed straight to the Ombudsman without delay as soon as they announce a price rise. Otherwise you will have a wait of up to 6 weeks before you can escalate to the Ombudsman. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you expect that I will receive a deadlock letter or similar after this 'case closed' message?
To me it is a 'go away, we have no intention of looking into your complaint' message and there will be no follow up.
Its a very odd way to respond to a complaint surely.0 -
Reply saying that you will treat their 'case closed' comment as a deadlock letter and escalate your claim accordingly. I doubt if anyone there is even aware of what the complaints procedure involves. Eversmart appear to make Iresa seem like professionals. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

I scrolled through this whole thread.
It seems like a lot of you are complaining when there has actually be no change?...
Has anyone here actually had a price change, I mean, Ombudsman fee's for them are probably £150 per go. All you guys are doing is pounding a small company with threats and external charges when thus far, they haven't actually done anything wrong.0 -
