This is quite a long read but involves one of the individuals behind Private Parking Appeals Ltd. This is purely a factual post regarding this individual named on the .Gov website
The second link at the bottom which i can not post contains the document download, please can someone make the links live?

In essence it is the use of the name of a company similar to one that was used by the IPC

"Applicant United Trade and Industry Limited objected to the name used by Independent Parking Committee Limited under the Companies Act 2006"

"Independent Parking Committee Limited and {Personal details removed}, being jointly and severally liable for the above costs, are ordered to pay United Trade and Industry Limited the sum of £2000. This sum is to be paid within 14 days of the period allowed for appeal or, if there is an appeal, within 14 days of the conclusion of the appeal proceedings (subject to any order of the appellant tribunal)"

    20. {Personal details removed}17-page witness statement is dated 16 November 2018.

Since when did a tribunal have a time machine? ;)

However it was at best naive to think that adopting the trading style IPC was anything other than a way of getting at the other IPC - not that I'm against efforts to kibosh that particular organisation. :)

I read about that this week. Interesting information from the public domain.

Could be worse, but this is an open site where families might be reading!
