Hi all, ive recently been told by the ombudsman that my complaint to casheuronet had been ruled in my favour, an im trying to get an idea of how the refund works. From what i gather on the letter i received, im supposed to get the interest i paid, plus 8%. Now i wanna know if its as simple as ‘i got a loan for 500 in 2010, paid it back as well as 175 in interest, so im entitled to 175 back plus the 8% extra’ i had more than one loan, but im just trying to get an idea of what i should be expecting as my workings out seem too good to be true!0

It would be 8% per annum simple interest on the interest you paid, usually from the date the loan was settled - you can find loads of simple interest calcs on line0

Hi all,
I've had a look back at my loans and wanted to make a claim against Wageday Advance. I went to their website and they are now in administration. Is there any way to make a complaint, not to claim back compensation as I know this wont happen now, but to have the records taken off my credit report if it is found they lent to me irresponsibly?
Thanks in advance!0 -
Quick question - How does anyone remember the loans they took out. I had various loans from 2010 - 2016 but cannot remember most of them. I dont have old bank accounts either unfortunately.0

To be honest not sure if the administrators would be in a position to do that (they are usually there to ensure any assets are distributed accordingly) , you could contact them and ask0 -

Either from your own records or contacting potential lenders and asking... your credit report would at least show who you’ve borrowed from in the last six years0 -
Yes i had a look but i had some loans in 2010 - 2013 and they do not show up. They were crucial and i cannot remember any of them. I will try and dig these out somehow.0

Hi Guys, (for a family member so when i say I it means family member)
I took a payday loan out many years ago and i was going through a tough time. The company name was different money. Basically couldnt end up paying so went to court and got a CCJ. However a repayment plan was made every month of £25 through a pension which i got . The CCJ was in 2016 and is due to finish payment this month. Two questions:
The firm has gone into admin and has actually ceased trading. There is no way i can contact them at all, they have vanished from the face of the earth.
Question 1 - If a claim is to be made about refunds or redress - where do i go? how do i start?
Question 2 - Will the 25 stop automatically, if not who do i contact for it to stop? How do i get a certificate of satisfaction?
This is odd as i am sure no-one has been in this situation before.
Any help appreciated0 -
If they’ve gone into administration then you would need to contact the administrators to make any claim, you would also need to continue making payments until told otherwise0
