i am just about to start my second cycle of stoozing.£12k currently in stooze cards , now i fear i may have probs cos it will teporarily mean my credit limit on 1 or two new cards will need to match 12k putting me at £24k until i close down the first two.
so far i seem to be getting the "responsible lender" attitude from nationwide are nat west a bit looser.
any suggestions or am i going to have to repay close and wait a month before applying again for a £12k stooze card
my salary =£16k0 -

However, as my comments would probably take this thread "off-topic", if you duplicate/edit your post and start a new thread I will post there.0 -
YorkshireBoy wrote:The Nat West/RBS "phone transfer" in their T & C's is a little unclear regarding interest rate applied (see my earlier post in this thread), and will need to be tried and tested by someone - any volunteers?
According to their "summary box" on their website, introductory rate does not apply to Money Transfer.

you don’t pay a fee – just your usual rate for purchases from the date of the transfer
=========
The usual rate for purchases in the introductory period is 0%.
Is this a deliberate ploy to encourage the taking up of these transfers, or just simply that the text has not been proof-read?
As always though, the T & C's as written on your credit agreement will take precedence over the summary box info. I've tried to find the T & C's by starting a (dummy) application, but the card application site shuts down at 11:45pm. I'll have a look tomorrow, or ring them on Monday for clarification0 -
Does Natwest refer to 'Money Transfers' instead of balance transfers in their t&cs?
Also where on their website id the t&c for phone transfers?0 -
I've just applied for their gold card, I did notice at the end where it asks for your B/T from another card that you have to tell them now otherwise the special rate will not apply, bit odd that. I have £11000 on MBNA earning me some nice interest, I put £5000 to B/T, I can put the rest on Morgan but they want £35 and its 1.9% still worth it though. See what happens.0

well I applied online I was accepted but then I could not get the printer to print things off  so in the end had to click onto send them to me to sign.
I cant recall the BT on application but I seen 0% on opening, so maybe when I get the letter it will explain.
I do hate these legal worded things tho cos you miss out on things so I hope they aint to strict on the bt 0%.:j0 -
I have just been accepted on-line! I listed salary as £43,000 and requested a £14,997 bt to egg. wonder if I will get a chance to increase this? can anybody please advise?Don't waste your words I don't need,
Anything from you.
I don't care where you've been or,
What you plan to do.0 -
Economikrisis wrote:Does anyone know who exactly issues Natwest cards? Have heard that the groups (RBS) Credit card centre is located in Southend. Does Natwest manage its own credit card operations or is it done collectively with other RBS companies?
Thanks,
Historically Southend is the home of the old Natwest Access card centre, started up in the early 70's against Barclaycard, at that time this country's first and only modern credit card.
Prior to that we only had annual fee charge cards like Diners Club and the old American Express cards. B/C later allied itself to Visa as Access tied itself to Mastercard and later, Air Miles. Wow the choice two ccs.
When RBS bought Natwest it used the existing facilities at Southend, as Natwest had developed it as an agency centre for other companies as well as itself. Hence logically Mint also uses these. So in reality Natwest issues RBS and Mint as well as its own from Southend.

I'm over 25 and earn over 25k, does it matter which card I apply for (Gold, Platinum, etc) as I don't think my credit rating is the very best.
Also are there any issues with applying for the RBS and the NatWest?
Thanks0
