Right well I finally received a reply from Parking Eye one and a half months after I wrote to them even though they said they would reply within 30 days and surprise surprise they sent me the same generic letter, no mention of a POPLA Code. I mean do thy actually read what you have written to them. Just another bunch of money hungry Morons. I quit with Holiday Inn as they were just a bunch of Jobsworths. So what do I do now?
I have just reforwarded the same appeal asking them to read it noting my points.

I can’t seem to add the letter it says it’s too large even though I have cropped it etc. Basically they say following receipt of my letter and my request for alternative dispute resolution, you were provided with 28 days to lodge an appeal with POPLA, WHO ARE the independent appeals service for parking on private land. This 28 day period has now passed and you have not appealed to POPLA or paid the Parking charge in full. We note that the full amount of the Parking charge remains outstanding and that we have been unable to reach N agreement in respect of the same via the reply Form. We require the £100 within next 14 days or further action will be taken including incurring further costs.

I’m thinking you morons you didn’t send me the iletter after 14 days have lapsed and I have told them this. That I was unable to reply because I didn’t get a letter until about 40 days after the alledged Parking contravention had occurred so I was unable to appeal this invisible parking charge notice because you morons failed to make sure it was delivered in a timely manner. So I’m requesting a POPLA CODE What is their problem.

their problem is that you had 28 days from the date of issue of the NTK to submit an initial appeal so 40 days is too late and so they do not and will not issue any POPLA code

if they issued a popla code , you had 28 days to put in a popla appeal

you missed the boat, sorry to say

at this stage you are at LoC and SAR stage, prior to a court case

I never received the NTK ThatS the thing. The first correspondence I received was a month and half after the alledged parking contravention. That is what I am banging on about to them but it’s like each time I write to them they don’t even bother noting what has been said. That is why I have been demanding a late POPLA code

Ok so now have received a letter for a claim form in the County Court Business Centre and they are now claiming the original £100 and £25 court fee and £50 legal representatives cost totalling £175. Giving me 14 days to respond from beginning April. I just want this to be over with. Is there anyway I can call them to negotiate the original reduced fee of £60. My health isn’t permitting to fight this.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated

no , not going to happen, they want their pound of flesh

this wont be "going away" until 6 years have passed OR it goes to your local court where a judge will decide , which is what is happening here

what YOU want is irrelevant, these juggernauts do not stop for a breather or halt altogether , this is a bespoke sc@m industry relying on this 6 years and on the fear factor , designed to put you in a jam and then harass you until you cave in and pay in full

you have a live court claim, so must defend it or pay up in full

if you wish to defend it , post the DATE OF ISSUE in your reply below, and read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread, post #2 , carefully , then do the AOS online and start preparing your defence

and email a SAR to the DPO of your PPC and get all their data held on you and your vehicle

It was 1st April. Would it cost me anything to defend, is it worth defending. I haven’t a clue even about filing a defence. I didn’t get letter till 4th April

See the stickies at the top of this board. One asks you to read it first. Over a Million people have managed to read it.

Q - ''I don't understand any of your acronyms, this is too complicated!''

A- THE USUAL ACRONYMS ARE EXPLAINED LOWER DOWN THIS THREAD, SEPARATELY, IN POST #5. APPEALING IS NOT COMPLICATED, YOUR APPEAL IS ALREADY WRITTEN FOR YOU BELOW FOR YOU TO COPY & PASTE INTO THE PPC's ONLINE APPEAL PAGE.

AS THE FORUM IS TOO BUSY, PLEASE DON'T COPY THE TEMPLATE INTO A NEW THREAD AND ASK 'DO I SUBMIT THIS?' YES...!
