I emailed Holiday Inn and await to see what they say. Parking eyes rejection to my appeal letter was dated the 12th December but I did not receive it until the 17th of December and they were giving me 14 days to pay the £100 fine. So the 14 days from the date of their letter expires on the 26th December.
I don’t have my V5c as I can’t find it but I am definitely the registered keeper and the MOT And Tax are in my name.

A 14 day letter is just a chase up.

PE must comply with the law giving you a letter before claim
The LBC must give you proof of their claim and give you 30 days to respond.

They won't send the LBC until early January so end of jan before you respond to rebut their claim
  • I have already received a LBC then I wrote to them and they took a month and a half saying they had rejected my appeal and that I wasn’t in the timeframe for a Popla appeal. So I had to pay the £100

    Have you actually paid this?

That's the first time you have mentioned having received a Letter Before Claim.

    Are you sure?

We need some clarification here, otherwise there's going to be some confusion.

  • Sorry i HAVE NOT paid the parking charge.

Ok the alleged Pakimg contravention occurred on 15 August

First correspondence from Parking Eye received on 24th September. ( they said they had sent me 2 notices before I did not receive these.).

I have been poorly so didn’t/ couldn’t reply back and then after the letter dated on the 24th September I received a LBCCC DATED 9th October. So I appealed online 30 October 2018 approx. Then wrote to me letter dated 12 December 2018 saying they had rejected my appeal. None of my points were addressed.

    Hope that clarifies things.
Hope you all have a great holiday. Stay blessed

    OK, sorry, my mistake.

I think it must be all this recent talk about 'appeals' that threw me.

Hi so I wrote to the holiday Inn and they asked for proof of purchase that refreshments were purchased or other information pertaining to the genuine reason for parking in the car park.
The proof of purchase could not be provided as the receipts have been thrown away. However a screenshot confirmation email of a meeting being attended by the The driver on the same date with the hotel details was sent.
Unfortunately it seems to have fallen on deaf ears and I received this response.

    ‘Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately, due to the information you have currently provided, we are unable to assist you in pursuing an appeal with the parking management provider.’

I mean did the guy actually read the email I sent to him.

Parking Eye have just sent their usual automated response of thanks we have received your appeal before LBCCC we will get back to you.
