Would you comment on someone's speed if you were a passenger?

Never seen an ambulance in a supermarket. They normally leave it outside.0

You would have to give some kind of example to solidify your supposition...…
What supposition?
You have clearly stated that you think that a passenger does not have the right to say anything to a taxi driver if that driver is breaking the speed limit and maybe driving dangerously (and in the OP's case, the driver was almost 75% over the limit, something that in a 30mph limit could well be dangerous) and isn't that passenger paying for the services of that driver during the journey?
What is the difference to paying for a driver and having them doing something illegal and possibly dangerous with you in their vehicle and paying for someone to carry out a job in your house and finding out that they are working illegally and possibly endangering you?0 -
@George Michael "(and in the OP's case, the driver was almost 75% over the limit, something that in a 30mph limit could well be dangerous)" you made a mistake in believing the OP is telling us the truth0

The supposition about employing someone to do a job blah blah, more often I only use the taxis to get to and from the airport, if they want to exceed the posted limits that is up to them.
If I am in my friend's car as a passenger and I noticed they are doing 33 in a 30 or similar examples, I wouldn't say anything other than perhaps if there maybe a speed camera near ahead.
If I am carrying a passenger and they wish to comment , they already know the response is that they can make the rest of the journey by alternative to me means.
Strange eh?.... a question is asked it is answered and the answer isn't as some readers like so then they get on your back as if I'm going to change my stance on it.0 -
Quite simply I'd tell you if you don't like it the make your own way there or back.
It's obvious it's not your place to do so,
When you're in a taxi as a paying customer it is absolutely your right to do so. At 50 odd MPH in a 30 limit there's a risk of an accident you get injured in, especially in a car which is driven by someone who requires no extra training and whose hours aren't monitored meaning they could have been on the go for well over 24hrs with no sleep and no breaks other than waiting for a fare. There are lots of taxi drivers on a weekend who finish doing the night clubs around 3am then 3hrs later are up again to do an airport run. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Surely on forums such as this, the default position should be that the truth is being told unless there is evidence or a reasonable suspicion that this isn't the case.
IF no one believes that the truth is being told then what is the point in anyone responding to any posts?0 -

But I have read previous threads from the OP so am a bit wary.0
