Would you comment on someone's speed if you were a passenger?

Deastons part time speed trap operator feels unable to comment on someone speeding when actually in the car :rotfl:0

I ask because in that situation, I'd get a taxi. But you seem to think it's ok for a taxi driver to throw me out and tell me to make my own way.
Your agreement with the taxi is they get you from A-B so that you are around to tell the tale, that obviously happened, you know not to use them again if you feel uncomfortable with their driving, I'm sure there will be other customers for them.
At the end of the day the driver didn't give their consent to critique their speed adherence, just drink a cup of shut the heck up and get on with life, I'm sure there is plenty else to worry about eg the amount driving with none or failed headlights as the dark evening draw in.0 -

I rode from Portsmouth to Chelmsford with a driver who was falling asleep at the wheel once. He refused to let me take over the driving.0

You're aware that I didn't critique their driving, right? You're getting all angry and judgemental about something I didn't actually do.
It seems to me that it's you who needs to "drink a cup of shut the heck up"!0 -
Quite simply I'd tell you if you don't like it the make your own way there or back.
It's obvious it's not your place to do so, it's not as if the driver isn't aware themselves, and sometimes there is little worse than *****ance.
So are we to assume that if you got into a taxi and you noticed that the driver smelt strongly of alcohol and was slurring his speech, you wouldn't say anything either and would simply let him drive you to your destination?0 -

Not sure why you are moving the parameters to get a point? The OP opened up about speed and the posted limits.
If I got into a taxi vehicle and it odours remained, who is to say they are not from the previous passengers?0
