but , but the BPA don't handle PNs0 -
The ICO has the authority to make them remove your data, though. As long as you explain it well, and point out that under the Magistrates Court Act that penalties must be laid before the court within 6 months, and after that cannot be pursued.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Even more useless response from Indigo, stating again that they are not issuing POPLA codes (but omitting to note that they are now using ITAL). Complaining again that its the fault of the byelaws being open to interpretation.
Story re court slightly amended "the final decision can be made at a Magistrates Court", but again missing the 6-month time's up.
Still in denial about the removal of the suspension, and pointing me to contact the Debt Recovery.
I'll write again ...0 -
If the 6 months have passed and they are refusing to delete your data report them to the ICO. You are wasting your time and energy writing to Indigo.0
-
Yep
REQUIRE them to delete your data, as they have no reason to hold your data any longer
STate they have 10 days to confirm this
Failure to do so will result ina complaint to the ICO.0 -
Any updates ImportantNotice?0

No further letters from ZZPS; no more communication for Indigo or BPA.
I guess they know that the time is now up for their scaremongering and bullying tactics on this particular case.
I'll check they've deleted all personal details pertaining to this ticket later this month and report what I find...!0 -
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It’s really useful to be able to chart the progress of the penalty ticket through the six month window.0
-
@ImportantNotice - did you get confirmation from these idiots that your data has been deleted?
I know a keeper who is at month 3 of a similar issues with these bullies.0 -
Where does it say in the byelaws that it "times out" (or words to similar effect?). I'm getting ready to tell Indigo where to go...not long to count down. But I can't find the 6 mth reference.
Thanks0
