YorkshireBoy,
I’ve got a regular saver with HSBC at 5% too.
Also a branch operated Virgin Money Regular Saver at 3%.
As I mentioned the Marcus account is my emergency fund if I ever needed to lay my hands on it quickly.
If I take money from the HSBC it drops to a 0.05% Flexi Saver (or something like that).
The VM account can be accessed easily but you cannot replace the cash as it’s a maximum pay in of £250 PCM.0 -

Has anyone had their interest payments from Marcus delayed before, such as when the date it should be paid occurred over the weekend?
I was due my interest on the 19th of Jan (opened account on 19th of Nov, received first interest on the 19th of Dec) but it has still not gone into my account.
Does anyone know if this is typical, or should I get in contact with them?0 -
19th Dec was a weekday, 19th January a Saturday. See if it appears at the end of Monday.0

Just opened an account with Marcus and it was a little surprising how little information it required! But reading comments above that seems normal. We’ll see how it goes from here....12K in 2019 Challenge #77 = £779.35 / £6,000 = 12.9%0

There seems to be a problem logging in today you get the message 'something seems to be wrong' I rang and they say they are trying to fix the problem. I am not sure if it is everyone who is having this problem.0
