    Hi

If you read the early posts in this thread you will discover
Also, according to companies house, Intrum Justitia has a head office in stratford upon avon, as it states in small writing in the letter (Full address, in case it's not on your letter, is Warwick House, Birmingham Road, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 0BP) The head guy, according to the Credit Services Association members list (http://www.csa-uk.com/csa/) is Mr S Jones (or at least, he's the guy CSA have as their main contact for Intrum Justitia) and the telephone number for the Stratford-upon-Avon office is 01789 415181

Intrum Justitia appear to be part of a much larger organisation that spans at least 5 countries, so I would imagine a scam would be unlikely, but you never know I guess. I intend to call the Stratford Office and see if i can get any answers that make sense.

As far as I am aware, I haven't had any dealings with them for at least 6 months, probably more and as a final note, Britannia Music dissolved as follows:
Status: Dissolved 21/08/2007 and their accounts have just been due..
    Next Accounts Due: 31/10/2007
Last Return Made Up To: 24/09/2006
    Next Return Due: 22/10/2007

So I can't help thinking that this has been the driving force behind these letters.

So telling you to take it up with Britannia is a complete waste of time because Intrim know they bought the accounts of a dissolved company.

I would suggest contacting trading Standards in Stratford on Avon and putting in a formal complaint.

You might CC Intrim into any leeter to the TS.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
