Run with the amazon UK link and you've be able to claim your VAT back and offset the remainder against your tax bill.

Yes, they are the same, so if e-Buyer sell it to you sans VAT, that would seem the way to go.

Not a terrible option. You can also buy it directly from Crucial UK for 67.99 + VAT

They are the same yes. I prefer Amazon just because

(a) their delivery service is better IMHO
(b) if there are problems they're returns service is excellent.

They'll provide you with a VAT receipt for claiming back the VAT anyway.
