CRM may also tell you to do one about the parking IF the parking is separate (AIUI) from the accomodation. Best to get to the facts early so you can get it documented and off to VCS so they have no reason to further hassle you.
So I spoke to CRM who have asked me to send over my ticket and permit via whatsapp lol. So now its just a waiting game. Can't thank you guys and girls enough. Lets see what happens0 -
Bradley hall said they any tickets issued there will be a check on the reg plate beforehand. When i called BradleyHall they lady reassured me that its a valid permit even though its looks unprofessional and that like you said my car will be on the whitelist irrespective of permit or no permit.I'm not with Bradley Hall, but outside the parking complex, there is a massive poster with their number on it.
Confused? I am now!0 -
Confused? I am now!
Hi Kirk,
Sorry, let me explain again. When i first moved in and went to park my car, there was a number on the parking complex. "Bradley hall with their number". I called them for reassurance that I've got a parking permit etc with my reg on it, few numbers and a logo of CRM. They stated that it was fine and that if in the scenario a person does come, they'll check the registration plates first and then issue tickets.
This parking complex is a shared parking space, so there are other organisations, companies and housing associations sharing it. However, Bradley hall is the management company i believe. Because my contract/lease/licence is with CRM - Bradleyhall stated they cant do anything and that because my contract is with CRM housing i need to speak to them.
I've just emailed CRM and their response is as follows. As the registered owner / keeper / user of the vehicle, you have to approach the issuing company yourself, rather than ourselves. We can help with providing any supporting documentation, but I would suggest that a copy of your tenancy agreement, showing that you have been allocated a parking space for the period, along with your parking permit, would be useful to send to them.0 -

When IamEmanresu says he needs you to get two things confirmed, he means in writing, in a tangible form that you can later show at a hearing to win your case.
No more speaking to them on the phone only, you need emails at least, that confirm EXACTLY what IamEmanresu said, so you can use them.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello CouponMad,
So My CRM area manager sent me this which i pasted in a few posts before. Here it is againAs the registered owner / keeper / user of the vehicle, you have to approach the issuing company yourself, rather than ourselves. We can help with providing any supporting documentation, but I would suggest that a copy of your tenancy agreement, showing that you have been allocated a parking space for the period, along with your parking permit, would be useful to send to them
So my tenancy agreement might answer the two questions that IamEmanresu is asking. My tenancy in black and white states i am paying for parking and as for a whitelist, i shall confirm that now. I assumed it would be implicit but I've emailed him again for an explicit answer.
Maybe the quote above only answers one of the questions which is - was I paying for parking at that point in time when i was given the ticket and the answer is YES i was.
Thank you CouponMad.0 -

Good stuff, you need evidence on both points.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you CouponMad. Still awaiting an email for the "whitelist" question from the CRM manager. However, since I've been trying to elicit answers etc, many of the people are asking me why I took so long to appeal this or raise in issue when it first came to light.
I'm sure the judge would say the same thing and this is where I'm a bit in the wrong because i really should have pulled my finger out but didn't. Will this play against me?0 -
Okay so i just received a text message from the CRM housing accommodation team and have stated that as far as they are concerned there is nothing they can do and that the charge will still stand because the vehicle did not have a "VALID PERMIT DISPLAYED" which the signs in the car park state I should do.
So even thought I had already paid for parking and it states so in my Lease contract agreement the stance the accommodation team are taking is that the permit wasn't displayed so there isn't anything more they can do.
Now because they have said this, and it does get to court will this not be something the judge will state that I was in contravention of the contract of the car park given the signs explicitly state a permit must be displayed.0 -

VCS just discontinued that case. It's over! This is easier than you might think.because they have said this, and it does get to court will this not be something the judge will state that I was in contravention of the contract of the car park given the signs explicitly state a permit must be displayed.PRIVATE 'PCN'? This explains why you are safe if they do go to court

If CRM are being obstructive, then give them some hassle. Send them a Subject Access Request. What you are looking for is evidence that they (CRM) did not pay VCS on time or did not put you on the Whitelist as they should have. If you happen to lose (though there is evidence that Newcastle court are not PPC friendly) then you will have the chance to throw CRM into the mix.
Do the same for Bradley-Hall. You registration is personal information in case they claim not to have any. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
